the two "massive" album sellers during the past 12 months have been Outkast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below and Usher's Confessions, both have soundscanned over 5 million copies.

Which artist do you like better?

I'd go for Outkast because they are a hip hop act that knows how to appeal to a wide array of fanbases that might not support hip hop music, they even have the appeal to rock/alternative masses that generally don't like hip hop, and their videos are always great.

Whereas IMO, Usher is just a paint-by-numbers r&b singer who IMO was a lot better a few years ago when he was working with Neptunes.

What do others think?

I couldn't agree more. I can't stand hip-hop, but for some reason, I can listen to Outkast and like it.

same here, plus they are unique. I don't see what Usher has that makes him so much better than everyone else
