I personally loved THE BRADY BRIDES -- did anyone else?

Yeah. It was quite a change from the original brady format. My favorite one was when the 2 couples appeared on "The Newlywed Game."

"The Brady Brides" was pretty good IMHO except for the time Wally (Marcia's wife) came out of the kitchen naked except for an apron. I saw the series when it aired last January 30 on the Fox Family Channel (competing against Super Bowl XXIV between the St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans).

I found it weird, however, when Florence Henderson aka Carol Brady (a regular on the original series) was introduced as a guest star in one of the Brides episodes.

Are you kidding?! I love the Brady Brides. Too bad they cancled it after only 10 episodes. My favorite episode is the one where Wally was running away from the police for his parking tickets.

I personally enjoyed "The Brady Brides." I found it quite funny, considering the history of Brady running gags and jokes. I saw that Brady Bowl marathon too. I was in hog heaven! I found the announcers catch phrase regarding "Brady 500" hilarious! "Mike Lookinland's most dramatic role ever..." The one thing I hated about that reunion movie was Cindy getting to broadcast live on her radio station. How cheesy and unrealistic! Any comments?

Cindy as a DJ was the worst! Are there any DJs out there with such pronounced speech impediments? And her on-air commentary ("Oh, no, my brother Bobby's been in an accident!") was too cheesy to be believed.

The Brady Brides was a good show, but it was just a very bad time to air it. The Bradys hadn't been seen since 1974, except for a flop variety hour and a Tv movie, so people probably didn't care for them anymore.

"The Brady Brides" was a good show.

However, the Bradys have been all over the place since 1974. With the show talked about here, "The Brady Bunch Variety Hour", "The Bradys", and the TV movies "The Brady Girls Get Married" and "A Very Brady Christmas". The Brady Bunch has never, since it premiered, been off the air.

I work in a day care/preschool/summer camp place with kindergardeners and 1st graders, and for the past 3 years , I've directed/done/whatever a play. Two of those years, it was based on a "Brady Brides" episode! Two years ago, it was based on "The Siege", this year, we are doing "The Mom Who Came to Dinner".

They're really cute! lol(though i had to keep pointing out it WASN'T the Brady Bunch)

The Brady Brides, I thought, was wonderful show and possibly better than the original Brady series. I absolutely love this series and it's too bad that it ended way to soon. It should never gotten cancelled because it was truly one of the best shows in 1981.

I don't have favorite episode because all 10 were so good.

That show was great!!! :) I just wish that there were more than 10 episodes, though. :(

I've never seen The Brady Brides, but if the chance ever comes along I will.

I found them on YT and loved it! I thought they were hysterical and funny. Wally was a perfect fit for Marcia. People that it was odd w/ the cheesy sexual innuendo, but come on, it was a sitcom! The sisters were adults who were married......did some think that the Brady sisters were celibate? I hope to catch these on TV someday so I can tape them.

I havent seen the Brady Brides yet. Would have been great if they added these episodes to the complete box set.

This show was good, I liked it just as much as the original show. Now, I have only seen Season's 1 and 2 of the original show, but I plan to buy the complete series box set in the coming weeks because only Season's 1 and 2 have been released here in Ireland. I also liked "A Very Brady Christmas", "The Brady 500", "The Bradys", "The Brady Bunch Movie", "A Very Brady Sequel", "The Brady Bunch In The White House" and "Growing Up Brady". I also have a few of the specials revolving around the original series and the movies.

I saw The Brady Brides when it was on FOX Family and it was a great spin-off Series.

I liked "The Brady Brides" too, as I watched it originally and in reruns, I have them all from ABC Family....the most enjoyable part as a healthy male was seeing Maureen McCormick walking around in the first few episodes in just a male shirt showing her incredible legs, now with the recent revelation from her book that during that time she was practically being dragged to the set daily because she was so "coked up" makes it even better....lol.....actually I was quite dissapointed to learn that two of our favorite "sweet" actresses were at one time druggies as well.....maureen & valerie b!

Hopefully soon I'll be transferring my taped copies to DVD! :)

I was of course making a joke, but unfortunately the story is true, what is unbrady??? Maureen does look extremely sexy in the episodes and the producer/writers wrote scenes to show her body off more....she obviously didn't mind.......did you read her book?.....she clearly admits she was dragged to the set in a coked up state of mind while shooting the series....that is un-brady like, but the sad or amusing fact is that it is true.....I was surprised to hear as well that america's other sweetheart Valerie Bertinelli admitted she has been with women sexually and did her heavy share of drugs as well.

These people are just normal people and they played sweet roles on TV, so some may find it amusing they were really doing drugs, etc...while portraying the sweet girls next door.............Is is "Very brady like" for Barry Williams to constantly talk of his dating his TV mother and dating his TV sister???? For that matter Flo Henderson, who also to me is a bit wacky also seems to exploit her friendship with barry and the dating story as well.......

I think it was just you saying that the fact that she was coked up made it seem hotter when at that time in her life she was suffering. If she makes you feel hot then great. It was just the fact that at the time she was sufferering and that that seemed to make her seem hotter. If she was sleeping around I could understand that making you feel she was hotter but as she addicted to drugs that just seems a bit sad.

I liked this incarnation, wished it would have lasted longer.

I remember watching The Brady Brides when it premiered, and catching the reruns over the years. I liked it.

I also rememer watching The Brady's when it premiered, the show was hilairious because it was trying to be serious.

I need to finally convert my VHS copies of Brady Girls Get Married and the Brides to DVD since the likelihood of these seeing official DVD releases are slim to none. :p

got Brady 500, Brady Girls Get Married and the Day By Day Bradyvision episode all converted today! I chucked the Brady 500 tape as there is no need to keep it--it also had the ABC version of Brady Sequel, but I have the official DVD of that.

Next up, doing all 6 Brady Brides, the remaining Bradys, the original ABC version of Bradymania (i also have the Fox Family re-edited version but not keeping it), the Weakest Link Brady episode, and Still Brady after all these Years, plus the VHS version of A Very Brady Christmas, provided it doesn't have Macrovision on it.

I actually loved this series, what I got to watch of it, I liked.

I have always thought Maureen was the prettiest of the girls and could never understand why people thought Eve was better looking but in TBBrides, and I know Maureen was on drugs, I think they put too much make up on her whereas Eve really shines IMO.

As Susan said in the book she recently worked on, no matter Maureen was up to she always looked great and she did and still does.

I agree!! All the Brady girls have had that certain sparkle. I think Susan is a very pretty lady herself.
