In the Growing Up Brady book why did they mistakenly refer to Mr. Brady in the pilot ep as Michael Albert Brady? Who on the show as a guest star was ever named Albert? According to the reverend who married Carol and Mike the latter's middle name is Paul.

One of those continuity ala The Golden Girls mistakes. It's brought up in my Brady Bunch trivia book. Hey, Sherwood Schwartz thought we wouldn't notice the lawn was really astroturf! He probably figured we wouldn't remember Mr. Brady's middle name, watch the Brady's they even attempt to give him a different THIRD middle name!

According to "Bradymania" (author's name escapes me, but it's a good book), under a chapter "Mistakes that slipped past", it mentions the error re: Mike's middle name. His middle name was Paul in the wedding episode, but in "The Brady's", when Mike is elected to the city council or whatever it was, he was sworn in a "Michael Thomas Brady". And, evidently, Sherwood Schwarz's office received dozens of letters pointing out the error.

Other mistakes involve Carol calling Peter "Chris" while he's jumping on the famous Brady trampouline ("Hey, go get 'em Chris"), but the book missed Barry Williams calling Jan "Eve" during the same scene - "Why don't you give it a try, Eve?".
Other mistakes include the house of cards scene, in which Jan's (or was it Marcia's?) bracelet dangles in one camera shot, but she's holds on to it in a shot from a different camera angle...the camera angles go back and forth, and it's funny to watch it when you know what to look for...

One other thing...on the episode where Bobby goes on the show and loses the ice cream eating contest, when he, Mike and Carol get home, and the family is waiting in the darkend living room till the 3 of them walk in...ever notice that one light is turned on in the living room and whoever is there yells "Surprise"...then a second later, Jan and cindy turn on another light (they're in the dark, even though a light has already been turned on) and THEY yell "Surprise!" ...and then, a third light is turned on, and whoever turns it on is still standing in the dark...even though they're all in the same room, and two other lights have already been turned on! I don't know if this makes sense the way I wrote it, but look for this next time that episode airs. You'll see what I mean...it's funny!
