View Full Version : job interview lifesuxorrox 10-22-2004, 10:33 AM ... Dutabi84 10-22-2004, 11:44 AM I was interviewed at Target a couple days ago. It was pretty typical, get asked this question, that question..it's not that hard. Just be prepared to answer questions. Disgusting interview? Not sure what would make an interview disgusting. GARFIELDKOOL 10-22-2004, 12:17 PM I was interviewed at this stuffy hotel years ago, the dude who interviewed me was a real snob. I was interviewed for a position(I forgot what I was interviewing for) a long time ago at a hotel, and the interviewer couldn't believe it when I told her that I didn't have a credit card(for possible travel in the job) and never have had one. She just looked at me incredulously and said, "how do you live?" I do quite fine thank you very much stupid shallow b*tch! I didn't say that to her, of course.;) But needless to say I didn't get the job. I'm kind of glad about that! Credit cards are evil. crystals 10-22-2004, 08:05 PM Originally posted by Chambers Credit cards are evil. I don't like using credit cards, either. I once got a call from MNBA bank and they asked me about Mastercard and I didn't sign up. I think I can live fine without credit cards. I'll just save up lots of money in my bank account. I hardly spend money anyway because I hardly ever shop. AllIWantIsYourClutch 10-22-2004, 11:30 PM I've had 3 job interviews in my whole life. The first one was at a restaurant at 10:30 at night and it was really awkward. The second one was at Target and the lady asked me some weird situational questions that I didn't know how to answer. A few weeks later I got a card in the mail that said they didn't want me. Then I was interviewed at a grocery store and that interview consisted of "When can you work?" and he hired me. Hollow 10-22-2004, 11:35 PM only a fake one for work skills. they sent me a letter back saying "dear mrs. sara, we would like to inform you that we cannot add you to our staff." thanks. dawsongirl 10-23-2004, 12:33 AM Originally posted by Dutabi84 Disgusting interview? Not sure what would make an interview disgusting. Me either. o_O Anyway, I've had interviews for office jobs mainly. And apparently I answered all the questions wrong, because I never got hired. Just the basic questions you'd find on any site with sample job interview questions. I HATE THEM. dawsongirl 10-23-2004, 12:37 AM Originally posted by Sterling Holobyte Hotels must only hire snobs. Credits Cards rule. Unless they have ungodly APRs. SoFl123 10-24-2004, 12:46 PM O i hate job interviews cuz i get nervous about what they are gonna ask me. My first job interview was easy though, i filled out an application and came in, they said we will call you within 2 weeks, i went back there 2 weeks later and i was hired right there. Then my next one i went in and it was a little more difficult, then 2 weeks later they call me and say you can start working. They told me at that job i was the worst interviewee and thats why they hired me. |
