I was watching the news that the New York City Subway will be turning 100 on Wednesday October 27th. I've been on this subway all the time but I still go on sometimes.:) Any questions about the subway's 100th anniversary, feel free to post.:) I hope this Wednesday will be our subway's centennial year.

By the way, Forgotten NY has a section includes subway cars that were no longer run plus a section on the platform that were no longer there and the Subway letters and numbers that were no longer on this route like "K", "9", "C" Express, "JFK" Express and others. Happy b-day. My fav station is the coney island station with the W,F,D and i think X. Oo, i also like the station where like when u touch the light thingy or whatever, it makes a sound or something.

i went to New York in august 4 the first time and rode the subway...it looks 100 years old, it needs to be renovated.

I'm watching the special on channel 4 called "Celebrating the Subway". A look back at 100 years of the subway.:) This is going to be fun. I love subways.:)
