Let's all congratulate the Boston Red Sox for their spectacular win against their arch rivals, the New York Yankees!! Even dyed in the wool Yankee fans have to admit that the Sox definitely deserve praise for making the unlikliest of comebacks last nigt to seal the deal.
Whoda thunk that the Red Sox, who were down 3-0 just last Saturday, would come back and take four straight from the Yankees? I sure didn't! But I commend those folks out there who "Kept The Faith" and "Believed" that the Sox would do it.
Now it's on the World Series!! I just can't believe it! I just don't know if I want the Sox to play the Houston Astros, against former Red Sox ace pitcher Rocket Roger Clemens, or the St. Louis Cardinals. I'm kind of leading toward the Cards, mainly for another payback of sorts for the Cards beating us twice in World Series matchups, the most recent being in October, 1967, the last Red Sox World Series I remember watching on televison.
