Hello everyone!

Since I am a Bandstand Dancer on the show, and I will be running the Official American Dreams Fan Club, let me tell you what I know.

American Dreams is still in production… right now they are filming the commercial-free episode, (#9), are in prep on episode 10, episodes 11 and 12 are being written, and episode 13 is being outlined.

About the fact that only 13 episodes have been ordered so far…every show works this way… the first 13 episodes are ordered for the fall, and in November the network orders the other 9 to make a full season. The people at American Dreams do not currently feel that they are in danger of being canceled. Everyone is excited about the upcoming episodes, and are so happy about the fan support for the show. So don’t despair! There is no need to go into panic mode.

However, many people have expressed interest in writing to The Powers That Be at NBC to express their support for the show, and to tell them it is the best show on TV. Kind words never hurt!

It would be wonderful if we all ‘get together’ and write to TPTB en force, and really show them how much we support the show. IT IS NOT BEING CANCELED. This is not a “Save Our Show” campaign. This is to say THANK YOU to NBC, and to tell them you will continue to support the show.

Make it personal… tell them who you watch it with… Tell them how it has changed your life… What makes it so special to you? Do you own the soundtrack or the DVD?

HOWEVER… please note: NBC is not accepting LETTERS, due to the threat of anthrax, (remember Tom Brokaw got a laced letter awhile back?)

So PLEASE don't write letters in envelopes, PLEASE write your notes on POSTCARDS. I talked to the NBC mailrooms, and they said they are accepting postcards.

Here are the addresses of the two most important people:

Jeff Zucker
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, NY
10112

Kevin Reilly
President, NBC Entertainment
3000 West Alameda Ave.
Burbank, CA
91523

Thank you so much for your support for this great show… show that support to NBC!

Thank you for the information. I'm sure you've eased a lot of people's minds. Any word on whether or not there will be a fan club?

Did you watch last night? You know when JJ makes the tape to send to his family if he dies or is MIA? And did you see the previews for next week? I bet you anything he'll die! Darn! He's so cute! :livid: *new subject* Meg is soooooo annoying! She's a goody goody and deserves to be punished for ruining Henry 5. I'm not saying I was for the war...I wasn't even alive...but she's so snobby! Patty's really cool, even though she's a smarty pants. Did you see the episode when Will is afraid that he killed their neighbor because he prayed for it. She says, "Will, you can't pray people dead. If that were true then I would be an only child." My sister sure got a kick out of that! :rotflmao:

Trish Marie - I totally agree! Romeo is soooooo stealing her! I mean, she's pregnant with JJ's child! JJ and Beth should totally get back together. Even though that Vietnamese girl was nice, I'm glad she died. Now there's a better chance of JJ and Beth getting back together. Of course, if JJ is MIA... :crying:

I am hip, especially when you put it like that. No real man pitches woo to a woman who is pregnant by another man. And for sure not when that other man is stuck in another part of the world putting his life on the line so Romeo can play guitar and sing in a safe enviornment.

Romeo is just wrong. I could use stronger words, but I won't...
