Do you find yourself doing things(in a good or bad way) because of what you see on your favorite tv shows? Like how you dress or what you eat, etc? It can be a one-time thing that you try because you saw it on a show or something that has become a regular habit now, like I think that I have been drinking a lot more bottled water because I have been seeing it so much on Y&R, and I never drank it much before. It seems like every time one of the characters turn around they are opening a bottle of water! And that got me thinking that I should probably be drinking more, ...water, that is!;) And so I have.

Hmm... I can't think of anything specific that I might have tried or started doing after seeing it on TV. But the possibility is always there. Power of suggestion, and all.

Best kind of example, of course, would be TV commercials. That would include product placement within programming. The purpose of ads being to sell the public on a product or service.

Law & Order: SVU, NYBP Blue, Crossing Jordan, and CSI: NY are a few of my favorites because their all crime shows, and I want to go into law enforcement/criminal justice (possbily).

Three's Company influences me.. I crack up hysterically when I hear someone snort or when I snort.. I usually trip over things.. I give "the Janet glare" to people.. and I say dumb things that nobody can understand :p

Well, last night I was watching Gilmore Girls and they were at the movies and they were eating popcorn and all of a sudden I wanted popcorn really bad.

I decided to grow my bangs out in the 7th/8th grade because at the time I was a huge Full House fan and I wanted my hair to look just like DJ's (Candace Cameron's).

I'm glad I did in the long run. I can't imagine myself with bangs now.

I had the Rachel cut when I was in 7th grade (1997). Back then, it was THE thing to have Jennifer Aniston's hairstyle because Friends was just starting to get really popular.

I've got to admit, I loved having the Rachel cut...It actually looked really cool on me. :)

THat's all, I guess...

TV has become a major brain washing tool.....

If you really knew how much control they had over you,you would smash it and not ever watch it again!!
