I love it too.

Its being shown here in the UK at the moment and I try and catch it every weekend. Why though did the BBC show as far through the series as Lacey's cancer and then pregnancy and then stop and go right back to the beginning? I love the old episodes but I want to know what happens at the end too.

Please BBC show the whole thing right through this time

Totally agree seen all episodes joined fanclub done the cagney and lacey dedicated biz. totally different characters and lifestyles but they still get on and support each other if you ever see " trials of Rosie O"neill' worth seeing. Sharon Gless plays a good part in it.

I FORGOT WHO, (PERHAPS TVSHOWSONDVD.COM), BUT THERE WAS A POLE BEING DONE ABOUT WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE C & L RELEASED WITH SEASON ONE ONLY, OR WITH SEASON 1 & 2? I VOTED FOR THE TWO TOGETHER, CONSIDERING I LOVE SHARON & TYNE. WHAT A GREAT DUO! LOVE YOU GALS! LOADS OF TALENT!

THIS IS ONE OF MY TOP 3 ALL TIME FAVORITES, AND WHENEVER I WATCH "THE DIVISION", I THINK THAT JINNY & MAGDA ARE A LOT LIKE THEM. JINNY IS CAGNEY. AN ALCOHOLIC, HOTHEAD. WHEREAS LACEY IS A NURTURING MOTHER AND FRIEND.

I just watched 2 episodes on imdb with my guy Gregory Sierra (:eyes:) as a guest star. One of them, called "Violation", was especially funny because his bad guy character, in a holding cell, is sitting tipped back in his chair and tries to make a move on Cagney (Sharon Gless). Her response? She kicks the chair right out from under him!!  So yes, the show did have its great humorous moments along with the drama.
