Whatever happened to him? the last time I've heard about him was he had some run-in down in California.By the way, was he born in the Caribbean or New York?

He's been in everthing from commercials to guest starring roles to specials. He's been a guest star on too many sitcoms for me to name, but he played the father in the movie, "The Jacksons."

Robert Hegyes did a lot of guest appearance of T.V. Shows through the 80's and 90's. Some of the shows he guest starred in were Chips, Cagney & Lacey where he appeared in 41 episodes, and an episode of NewsRadio. He died of a heart attack on January 26, 2012 at the young age of 60.
