Now that it's coming on DVD, I don't care whether it comes to TV Land or not.

What about the Night Court fans who don't own a DVD player?
Of course you don't care about them! You only care about yourself!

If viewers of TV Land can afford cable, they can definately own a DVD player. I'm sure more people own a DVD player than they suscribe to TV Land, and for that small margin of people who are Night Court fans and don't own a DVD player; you would think that they were a true fan of the show they would buy a DVD player before they knew the show was coming out on DVD. I don't know where you are getting the idea that I don't care about other people, but I think people would rather see Night Court uncut on DVD rather than edited on TV Land.

I know someone who is a Night Court fan but doesn't want a DVD player. Should he be punished because he doesn't own a DVD player? I don't own a DVD player. I might get one but I don't know for sure.

If you can't see Night Court on TV, how else are you going to see it, but on your DVD player; when it comes out on DVD this February. I'm not say you must own a DVD player; it's perfectly fine with me that you'll wait until it comes on TV Land, which may not happen. But if you don't own a DVD player, you will be missing out on the Night Court season one boxed set, when it comes out on DVD.

If you had The Biography Channel, you could of caught some of the episodes back when it was airing this year, or if you couldn't catch it on that channel you could of asked someone if they could tape it for you. You had your chance, now you'll just have to wait awhile until it comes back on TV.

I have over 100 episodes on tape. But I still hope it comes back to TV.

I still want Night Court on TV! Is there anything wrong with that?
That STUPID Seinfeld in on and it's coming out on DVD.
Lots of shows are on DVD and TV at the same time like Buffy!

I don't think Seinfeld fans are stupid, I just don't like the show.

Sorry about the double post. I just get passionate about Night Court!
One of the reasons I want Night Court to come back to TV is
so that people who have never seen Night Court can find it and find out that they like it. If you've never seen a show would you buy a DVD set? They might if they saw it on TV and decide that they like it!

Actually the majority of my DVD collection, consists of shows that I haven't ever seen on TV before. After I've watching the DVD set of a show I've never seen, I determine whether I will buy the second season or not, and 99.9% of the time I do. I use DVD's as a way to see shows that I couldn't ever see in reruns, and see them for the first time. I'm not the only one who does this either, if you go to the "TV Series on DVD News and Discussion" board, you'll see that many people 'blind-buy' along with me.
