one thing I was curious about. Since you can't "hear" tv but can enjoy it captioned, does the same apply for music videos? Since most music videos these days are captioned so you can read the lyrics and also get a taste of the artists' image/style?

Well, that's a very good question. I didn't really watch music videos too much while growing up...But if nothing else is on, I will occasionally turn it over to VH1 or MTV, provided it's not somebody else trying to sing along (you know, like on the "I Love the __'s" specials). If it's captioned, I'll watch. a lot of the current videos are stale (since they all seem to follow the same formulas), but I could definately see someone being able to find enjoyment with a lot of the 80's and 90's videos, like I could imagine A-Ha's Take On Me, Michael Jackson's Thriller or a lot of Madonna's videos (like Like A Prayer or Express Yourself) would be entertaining even if you couldn't hear, but can read the lyrics.

I don't really know how captioning works... maybe it's just my area. All my other music channels offer captioning for their videos except for VH1C.

I've been on long drives but no road trips. My great aunt and uncle used to torture my mother and I by taking us on long country drives (they thought it was a treat because we didn't own a car) and I'd get horribly sick...I just can't travel in cars, I get really travelsick. So I don't.

I've been on planes twice, once to/from Italy and once to/from New York from London. I was scared stiff the first time I flew, and bored to death the second time.

No. I don't like rides. I got scared on the damn Merry-Go-Round when I was little (but only because I'd seen a horrible TV show where there was a serious accident invovling one).
