Did anyone see the pilot episode of "The Brady Bunch" yesterday? When I watched it,I knew something in that episode: Bobby was played by a different actor! Everyone knows that Michael Lookinland played Bobby Brady for all 5 seasons on the show, but for him, doing the pilot was a little nervous on Mike. Also,I noticed that Tiger, the fanily's pooch looks a little like Simone, the Partridges' dog. Look at some of the episodes in the second season, and you'll see what I mean. Well, that's what I noticed.

(P.S. My favorite Brady cast member used to be Maureen McCormick, but now I like Eve Plumb better!)

Actually, Mike Lookinland was in the pilot. They just didn't dye his hair black/brownish yet since the pilot was filmed in 1968. Oh, and on the subject of the pilot, I looove it, partly because I've seen it so many times I know it by heart! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Never saw the pilot episode before, but the movie that spawned the premise for "The Brady Bunch" aired a week ago. It was called "Yours,Mine, and Ours," about a blended family as well. I think it was on AMC (American Movie Classics).

I didn't see the pilot in the first run, and the first several rounds of syndication didn't include the pilot episode. So when they suddenly showed it about 5 years after the last season I wondered "what is this?" To me, that was a lost episode.
