Finally, Center of the Universe debuts this Wednesday October 20. However, by pushing it back, it makes me wonder if it will get as many viewers as if it had debuted with the rest of the new shows.

I hope it does well in the ratings. I was at an advanced screening of the pilot and I really enjoyed it. Is it extremely original? Not really, but it is pretty damn funny. I look foward to it's debut.

Center of the Universe is now bumped to October 27 due to the Baseball Playoffs.

Possibly, but with a Game 7 in the Yankees-Red Sox series forced tonight, it's sort of expected that they'd delay COTY so it wouldn't go up against such a big game.

The show got a horrible review in today's Daily News.

Considering the amount of times it's been pushed back (okay, tonight they can say it's because of the Yanks/Sox game) I don't think CBS has much faith in it suceeding.

CBS could have at least changed the premiere date on the COTU webpage. :rolleyes:

I had my vhs tape ready and was sitting in front of my tv waiting for the show to start.

Miss Golden how did you find out about the date being pushed back? Did they announce it before CSI?

If they push the debut of this show back one more week somebody at CBS is going to get a cap in their a$$ courtesy of TF.

18 Million tries later.... Center of the Universe will finally debut tonight.

It was good. I liked it.

It was Ok. I Expected it to be alot better.

But hey, First episodes are never that great. I'll give it another try next week.

It wasn't terribly funny, and definately not original.

But I liked it.


Next to Joey, I think it's the best new comedy.
