I read this in Friday's Wall Street Journal. NBC will air a commercial free episode the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and promises that it will be "emotional".

Unless she goes into labor early which I know happens cause my mom had my early..... I was due November 22 1978 and I was born November 7th 1978...... I hope beth has a little girl......Mel :) Moonlight Lady 10-28-2004, 12:35 PM Originally posted by Storywriter Good No commercials I hate when commercials take up time of the show......I don't think Beth has the baby though cause she's due around Christmas so they'd probably put that in an Holiday Episode in December...... The 1st season dvd is on my "to buy" list :) dancinqueen037 10-28-2004, 06:29 PM sooo if the episode is commercial free than does that mean it will actually be 1 hr instead of 40 minutes, because commercials take up 20 minutes?? ADFamily 10-28-2004, 09:05 PM Rest assured all that JJ doesn't die and he does make it back home. That Nov 21 eppy is supposed to be very emotional! Beth has the baby soon! Don't want to tell you too much cuz you may not want to know. Just have faith that JJ will be there! cutiejulie63 10-31-2004, 08:51 AM Good. Comercials SUX! Although I do like the song they play after the first thingy Hayworth 11-08-2004, 07:04 PM Beth is going to have a baby boy, I saw him after last nights episode. I also believe the commercial free epi in late Nov. is the last one until after the new year. So no AD during December :( I don't know what is supposed to happen in the commercial free epi, they have been super tight lipped so far but I bet it will be great Storywriter 11-10-2004, 01:11 AM Originally posted by cjcouple I think Beth has her baby this coming Sunday! So, it looks like there will be commercials, only in a limited fashion. Typical. Promise us one thing and give us another. Perhaps it will be 100% commercial free but the odds are against that. Probably a commercial after the opening credits at the very least, as they already cut into the flow of the episode. Its going to be commercials about Ford cars......When I watched 24 once with my brother the first 24 eppy of the Season 2 or 3 whenever it was last year in 2003 there was limited commercials and when there was commercials it was just Ford car commercials..... I don't like 24 at all I just used it as an example cause I think it will be the same with AD...Mel :) tvfan0101 11-17-2004, 11:08 PM Yeah, Ford is sponsering the episode. Do you happen to remember just how many commercials there were? Or, perhaps a better question, do you remember feeling like there were fewer commercials and more episode?
