I recently saw an episode of Family Ties where Malory got Alex to date a girl at school so that she could get into a sorority. (Pi Nu)
All I can say is, Lame! Both Alex and Malory were in high school at the time!! The soroity even had their own house where they were holding a dance. Like parents would let their high school aged daughters live in a sorority house, have parties unsupervised, or that sororities even exist in HS's. Very far fetched. It's like they came up a show idea and just couldn't wait for an appropriate time to make it.
