Grace and Karen are hired to decorate an apartment of a newlywed couple and they want their place to be all about love. Will Grace and Karen, two newly divorced women, be able to do the task? Meanwhile, a doomed bookstore gets help from Will... sort of.

What the hell? Was this some Bizarro World episode?
Will is glad to have a historically-important bookstore torn down to make room for a gym. Jack, of all people, not only calls him on it but scolds him for it.
Grace plays hookey on a job, then takes credit for Karen's work when Karen, of all people, is responsible and saves her ass. Karen then talks about the importance of friendship and quits in a huff.
I mean, shouldn't those names be reversed? Shouldn't Will and Grace be the mature ones and Jack and Karen be the self-absorbed bitches? At least with Jack and Karen, they're funny being so mean-spirited that they can still be likeable and get away with it.
Aside from the character assassination, there isn't much more that can be said about this episode.

Yeah same here. The new writers of W&G aren't doing a very good job. The big guest stars every week really ruin this show to me and I think it is now likely that Will & Grace will be closing down the curtains at the end of the season. This means that it would likely join That '70s Show in ending next year. I mean the show is really startng to suck now doesn't anyone agree? Espicially you snl75?

I've been annoyed with the character changes for a while now. And it is starting to get worse and worse.
The most shocking moment for me during this episode was Grace taking credit for Karen's design job, looking her dead in the face with no emotion and saying "It's not personal, it's business." Are you kidding me?!?!?!? Grace has always been such a lovable and crazy fun-loving character. She would have never acted like that in the earlier seasons. I was very dissapointed.
Will has changed dramatically. Karen is becoming too warm. I liked it before when she could act b*tchy and off the wall yet you still knew that she was a good person inside. Jack's character isn't a pest anymore and he's becoming dull. (And whose genius idea was it to make Jack become a nurse last year? Sheesh, where is the comedy in that?)
I'm guessing the writers don't want to kill previous jokes but in that scene last night where Grace and Karen are standing in the hallway and Grace is wearing that hideous looking green blouse, I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for Karen to make some hillarious comment about it but it never happened. I miss Karen making fun of Grace's wardrobe.
My theory - the main reason the characters have changed so much is because the creators of the show (Max Mutchnick and David Kohan) are no longer running it. When they left the show 2 years ago to work on "Good Morning Miami," they left the fate of the characters in the hands of a couple on-staff producers. According to the book (Will and Grace, Fabulously uncensored) they wanted to add more depth to the characters (make Will gayer, make Grace less dependent on Will and make Jack less stupid) This has not worked at all.
If Max and David can come back to the show, maybe it can get funny again. The people that have replaced them are obviously not doing a good job. This is so sad. I love Will and Grace. It is my favorite show and to see this "ho-hum" writing and character changes is really getting on my nerves. I used to look forward to Thursday night all week waiting for an episode. It's got to the point now where I'm just praying that the episode will be at least a little funny.

I didn't mind this episode all that much, it was just that...I didn't like the way that Grace treated Karen! Grace couldn't handle herself after seeing that her new clients were married and then found out they were going to be parents...she left and Karen could have left, too, but she stuck by her friend (even though she was drugged up on dog pills) Then Karen showed Grace what she did with the apartment and Grace loved it...does she give Karen the credit when the happy couple entered the room??? NO! That made me soooo mad! I was never a fan of Grace's...I much prefer Jack and Karen. But that who Grace thing...

Espicially you snl75? i think nbc ether needs to david and max to come back and try to fik this mess or bring laura kitlinger back and put her in charge of the writing staff her consulting producer title is meaningless the only other writers that might and this is a longshot but it might work are terry and bonnie turner i know they have no history with w&g but they do have snl/third rock/that 70s show and whoopi under thier belts and they might be able to return the show to its former glory if none of these opotions work out then we can say bye to w&g
