I know that there are probably lot's of people who think that the movie was good but I think that it could've been better. I was expecting something about what it was like to play on the show and going into every actors life. It turned out like "C'mon Get Happy: The Partridge Family Story." It only focuses on one character. And in this case, it looked more like a teenage romance story than a story about playing on a popular show. All you really heard about was Barry and Maureen being in love and everything else was minor. Plus, they could've done something different with the cast like switch the actors who played the kids with some older look-a-likes because you could really tell the problem with aging on the girl who played Susan (Cindy). It was a good movie, just not what I expected it to be.

I didn't think the movie was all that either.

I liked it when it first came on, mainly because I like pretty much everything Brady and I heard that Bobby was being played by Mike Lookinlad's real life son, but I watched it the other day and wondered what I saw in it the first time.
Aside from the lacking of aging, it seemed that Bobby and Cindy were too young relative to the rest of the cast. It also omitted cousin Oliver and gave the impression that the discussion between Peter and Marcia over Greg's room was the last scene, when true Bradyphiles know that cousin Oliver delivered the last line: "... Just a suggestion!"
In the movie's defense, there is a disclaimer about the fact that it is fictionalized to some extent. That's more than I can say for several allegedly "fact based" movies I've seen lately.
