What gives?

I guess I'll have to start a new discussion. Something exciting and topic-worthy. Something... ah, screw it.

If you could change one thing about the show, what would it be?

For me, I would have had Monica & Chandler hook up a few seasons later than they did. After they got together, there were so few Joey & Chandler moments and I always missed those. They were my favorite "couple" on the show. :p

You're probably expecting me to say never have Ross and Rachel get together (which I would say).... but that's not number 1.

Get rid of Phoebe!!
They should have had someone different as the sixth friend, she never did anything for me.

I was, actually. We're just gonna have to disagree on that one. :p

Phoebe, yeah, she was often the weakest link on the show. Lisa Kudrow was great as her, but sometimes she could be hilarious and other times kind of irritating. I always preferred her in the earlier seasons, though. She became kind of a ditzy bitch in the later years.

I think Lisa Kudrow would have great.... if they made her character more interesting.

I agree with all those three - no Ross and Rachel, more Chandler and Joey and no Phoebe.

Something else I'd change (and this goes along with having Chandler and Monica get together later)...MORE JANICE. I thought she was hilarious.

I think I said somewhere once that they should have had Janice be the sixth Friend (instead of Phoebe)

Janice kicked so much ass.

I think having her around constantly would have gotten irritating, though (yes, more irritating than Phoebe). I know she was supposed to be irritating, but she'd constantly risk crossing the line between funny irritating and "throwing the remote at your TV" irritating.

I hope Janice continues her annual appearance tradition and stops by "Joey" sometime.

I kind of doubt it will happen, though how awesome would it be if Janice lived up to her promise to Joey? "That's 2 out of 3."

I thought of that when that episode aired, but I realized Alex said nice girl (not woman, making me think the person is in their early-to-mid 20s) and didn't mention anything about a family.

Personally, I think it was just an excuse to use that "hope it's not someone I slept with and never called back" joke.
