I've been watching WTB? on N@N lately and have fallen in love with it. :) I love Tony and Angela. I think it's so sweet that they really are friends, in addition to being attracted to one another. You can tell they actually care about each other as people.

I bought the season 1 DVD set, and I've watched almost all of it. So far my favorite episodes were "Mona Gets Pinned" and "Sam's Growing Up." I live in NY, so I also get WTB? on UPN. Yesterday I saw "The Anniversary Show" and fell in love with that one, too. It's just the sweetest thing. :)

Oh, and besides Tony and Angela, my favorite character has to be Mona! She just always makes me laugh b/c she just says whatever's on her mind.

Anyway, I just thought I'd introduce myself. I can't wait for season 2 to come out on DVD so I can see those eps without having to wait for N@N to get back there again.

Hey! Welcome to our "happy family" as Tony would say. I love how they sing to her in "Mona Gets Pinned" So sweet! And "Samantha's Growing Up" aka Sam's First Bra is really a great mother/daughter connectiong between Angela and Samantha.

My name is Lauren, by the way!

Thanks for the welcome, guys! :) It's nice to know there are other people out there who love this show as much as I do.

And yes, I agree about "Sam's Growing Up" and the Angela/Samantha bonding there. Sam would probably never admit it, but Angela was the closest thing to a mother she really had. I like the fact that both Tony and Angela are raising each other's kids as their own without even thinking about it.

 Hi Kristen, I'm Angela, welcome to the board, looks like we like alot of the same shows :)

I am a huge Tony and Angela fan, there's just something unique and special about their relationship.

On the Season 1 DVD, Dinner for Two, Angela's First Fight, Sports Buddies, Protecting the President, and Guess Who's Coming Forever? are my fav. episodes from that season :)

Look forward to reading your posts about the show, please feel free to join in the the "My thread for anyone who wants" :)

Yes, "Dinner for Two" and "Guess Who's Coming Forever?" are both good. I watched "Eye on Angela" yesterday, and I love Betty White, so of course I enjoyed that one.

There's something I've been wondering about. Do we know how old Samantha was when she lost her mother? I mean, she must've been pretty young, so when you think about it, Angela is really the only mother she's ever known (Awww!).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Sam was 5 when she lost her mom, she was really young :) I love Angela and Sam's relationship :)

"Working Girls" in season 5 (I believe) is the best mother/daughter moment between them because Samantha actually calls Angela 'mother'. And I cannot wait for tonight's episodes... "Sex, Lies and Exercise Tapes" is going to be great! It is named after the movie Sex, Lies and Videotapes if anyone wanted to know that. LoL!

Yeah, I saw "Working Girls" on N@N last week, that's what got me thinking about this LOL. Don't forget about the bonding Sam and Angela did in "Samantha's Growing Up." I believe that was the first time she called her Angela instead of "Mrs. Bower." Very touching.

My fave lines from that ep:

Tony:I'm here to buy my daughter her first bra.
Salesgirl:OK, what size is she?
Tony:I don't know, but she takes a 5 1/2 hockey skate!

Jonathan:That's Sam in that dress!

And, don't worry, Allison, I'm always on my best behavior (Well, at least most of the time, LOL)

I love when this scene.

Sam: (opens the package) Oh.
Tony: I knew it, I knew you didn't want one of those.
Sam: Well, no... I want one like Marcie's. With the little pink bow in the middle.
Tony: You wanted the pink bow? Why?
Sam: 'Cause everyone's going to see it.
Tony: Hey, who's going to see it?
Sam: Everyone. All the girls in gym class and at the slumber parties. Dad, you just don't understand. You have to have a little pink bow.
