I'd forgotten how much I love this show until it came up in a discussion with some friends...we started singing the theme song, and you can guess the rest.
But there are some things I've been wracking my brain trying to remember, and for the life of me I can't. So I'm looking for some help from the experts here:
1. Is Daphne Parmenter Wilton's older or younger sister?
2. Did they ever mention the first name of Wilton's mother when Mrs. Parmenter came to visit the fort?
3. While the lineage of the Parmenter's is well documented in "Scourge of the West", did Wilton have any other siblings beside Daphne?
4. Was there an episode where Wilton was court-martialed? For some reason, I remember his captain bars being removed by a commanding officer. Or did I just imagine this episode?

Perhaps I can help: :D
I don't believe it was ever specified whether Daphne was younger or older. I only remember her referred to as Wilton's "sister".
There was never an episode where Wilton was court-martialed. In the final episode of the first season, "Will the Real Captain Please Try to Stand Up?", Captain Parmenter strips Sergeant O'Rourke of his rank in the first scene and sends him to the guard house. And of course in "The Day They Shot Agarn" Agarn suffers a similar fate. But this never happened to the Captain!
I will need to rewatch the episodes on the other two, as I am drawing a blank. The only other time I remember a Parmenter visiting was in "Iron Horse Go Home", but that was the Captain's uncle visiting rather than a sibling.

A few days after writing this post, I did remember something else about this episode...at the end, Daphne has decided to study nursing I believe, due to her helping out with Wild Eagle's surgery. But as I said before, it's been a loooong time since I last saw the series.

Not being facetious, but perhaps I dreamed it. I haven't seen the series in years, and it was one of my re-run favourites as a child. So, it could have been childish imagination.

I don't remember that episode at all. All of my remembrances of the series are from memory. I would love to get the eps -- even if they're edited versions from Nick @ Nite -- on tape or DVD so I could enjoy the sheer fun of F Troop again.

It's been ages since anyone's posted on this thread, however, in the off chance that anyone cares, I was watching the episode with Wilton's sister, and she did at one point say that she was proud of her older brother. I don't know about the other stuff. I'd have to watch them all carefully again! Hope this can at least answer one question (two years after the fact) :)

Yes, she did say Wilton was her older brother, but isn't it funny how much older she looks? To me, he seems to be younger. I love Wilton, he's my favorite.

I agree, I always thought she looked older than him too, but oh well! Wilton was good, but I have to say that my favourite was Agarn. Who says I'm dumb?
