Just found out Empty Nest is going to be released on DVD soon. Probably sometime in 2005. I will let this board know when I hear more!!!

That's awesome news! Empty Nest is one of my all time favorite sitcoms. I was hoping that if The Golden Girls dvds sold well that they would start releasing Empty Nest.

Sorry, but I'm taking this with a grain of salt. Where's your source for this?

I'm also curious as to where the news of EN's release on DVD came from. In a recent e-mail to Disney I received a response saying they didn't have any plans at this time.

I'm not sure how much it would help as I have already voted for this at tvshowsondvd.com, but I recently found out that amazon.com has its own way to vote for shows you'd like to have too, although the shows to "vote" for aren't as large as the other site...

Anyway, Empty is able to vote for, I believe what you do is enter your email address that you are interested then when the title is released, they will email you about that :)

I have never seen the show, but I love The Golden Girls, and The Golden Palace. So I would love this show too!! I really HOPE that they release Empty Nest on DVD,and The Golden Palace also!!!!!!!!
