I have some Seinfeld on DVD questions? In "The Revenge" in the NBC versions Newmen is voiced by Larry David. But on the Syndication version Newmen is voiced by Wayne Knight. They say all of the episodes are going to be the NBC versions, so I assume on the DVD they will use the David voice over version. But I wish they would use both versions, so you can choose which Newmen you want to hear.

Also, when then get too the 4th season, in the "Handicap Spot" episode, there are two versions with different actors playing Frank Costanza. One with Jerry Stiller, and the other John Randolph. Which versions will they use? Will they use both versions?

Good question, I hope they use the John Randolph version. Jerry Stiller is great, but it would be nice to see how somebody else would interpret the Frank character.

No help to your questions, but my $.02:
I would think it would at least have the original versions.
Seems on something as significant as the 2 Frank thing, they should include both versions.

Doesn't any of the release info on the DVDs answer any of this?

The DVD has two versions of the pilots. And all of the epiosdes are original network versions. So I think they would use Larry David as the voice of Newmen in "the Revenge".

A smarter thing to do would be to include an optional audio track with Wayne Knight's lines dubbed over Larry David's, like in syndication. I mean, they're already including two versions of the pilot, why stop there? :p
