Chambers 10-11-2004, 07:07 PM At last! Well, "Friends" would hire actors as semi-regulars to appear in a certain number of episodes throughout the season (Mike is one example). I imagine that's what they'll do with Howard, rather than make him a regular. To be honest, I wanna see more Howard, but not as a regular. Like Bobbie, he's only funny in small doses. barwars 10-11-2004, 09:08 PM Originally posted by slackermonkey Well, "Friends" would hire actors as semi-regulars to appear in a certain number of episodes throughout the season (Mike is one example). The show is different from Friends that in thatt the cast can only include the 6 "Friends" Once again, aluding to Frasier.... he could be added ala Bulldog, who took several seasons to join as a regular. In the end, it's all a matter of pay. slackermonkey 10-11-2004, 09:10 PM True. I never really thought of it that way. Brian Damage 10-11-2004, 11:22 PM I think this is a simple case of a character who wasn't meant to do much, but because he was so strong and audiences loved him, he is quickly gaining more airtime. AKA Cliff Clavin and Frasier Crane. barwars 10-14-2004, 09:20 PM He wasn't in tonight's episode.... hopefully we'll see more of him though. slackermonkey 10-14-2004, 09:39 PM Well, this episode takes place before they met Howie. He won't be in next week's either, but I'm sure he'll appear again around sweeps. barwars 02-26-2005, 05:33 PM Where oh where is Howie?? slackermonkey 02-27-2005, 03:20 AM He won't be in the next episode either. After "Joey and the Party," they had only signed him on to do three more episodes (which ended up being "Perfect Storm," "Dream Girl pt 2" and "Big Audition") and brought him back for "Joey and the Assistant," but I don't know if they're planning on having him again any time soon. |
