How fast do you fall alsleep? For me it takes usually 2 hrs if I don't take anything to help mefall alsleep. I am taking Ambein it does does help It makes me fall alasleep within 15 min,but noe I thjink I am hooked on them,not only them,but over the counter PM pills,I take then also,now I am going to see if i could just take Ambien and not to take like Tylenoa PM,or others.I had always problems of going to sleep,and I know I sould get into a reugaur sleeping habit,but I am a night person,I work at 1 in the after noon.I did not know either that you can get hooked on overthe counter stuff,I hated the feeling when I took the PM stuffthat I felt groggy all day.Also went to the dr the other day to get my blood test back and my bad Clorestal was 1240,I am oin a diet right now no fried or sufar foods,which is hard because I love all those things.I am eating veggies and drining also of juices,No PEPSI or pop for a while,I used to drink Pepsi like it water,but now I am drinking a lot of water.But I think I just went off the topic,anyways How long does it take you to fall alsleep.

Around 10 minutes or so.

Hours and hours. And even if I do get a lot of sleep, I'm tired all day.

unfortunitely, it takes me a long time to fall asleep. i literally have to try all kinds of methods to make myself fall asleep: having the tv on, listening to music, reading a book, pleasuring myself, etc. i absolutley hate it because i usually don't get to sleep 'til 1 or 2 in the morning and when i wake up at 6 to go to school i'm all tired and crankie. whenever the teacher asks me question, especially if it's in the morning, i usually have to tell her to repeat the question again because the first time i was half asleep when she asked it. lol, poor me.

It depends. If I'm tired... I fall asleep rather quick. If not... it can take up to an hour. Most of the time I'd said 20-30 minutes.

I suffer from terrible insomnia; so, it literally takes me forever to fall asleep...

why is everyone think 'pleasuring oneself' is so funny??? i just mentioned it and already there have been more than one reply over it. i just don't understand the humor behind it because it's only natural for us sexual creatures to do it.

Nobody said it's funny. Just maybe funny that you would mention it, and use it in that context. But even then, nobody said it was funny.

If I'm tired, I fall asleep quickly. But if I'm not, it takes me a long time.. I toss and turn and keep having to get drinks of water and all that stuff.

Speaking of Ambien sleeping pills. My husband's doctor prescribed him some when he came home from the hospital. He doesn't take them. I'm tempted to try one. Just curious.

Being an insomniac, it can take up to four hours for me to fall asleep. Sometimes, I don't go to sleep at all.

My mom is on Ambien. They work great for her. She acts like a drunk though if she stays up too late after taking it.

You should never take medication prescribed for another person. The dosage is set for that person's body. And males may have much different dosages anyway. You could go down like a darted rhino. :( I take about 5-10 minutes to doze off. Lucky I guess.

On Sunday nighrs it sometimes it takes me an hour or two to get to slee, sometimes 3. On weekdays, it'll take me about 10-15 minutes to fall asleep.

On weekends (and other nights were I dont have schppl the next day) it takes me about 3-5 minutes.

I'd say, give it a whirl, Janice. ;)

I do agree with Kranken that you're "not suppose" to take meds that aren't prescribed to you, and Ambien is a rather powerful drug, so I don't want to seriously encourage it. I don't, however practice what I preach, because I have taken medicine that was not prescribed for me. The odds are Janice will be fine. Take at your own risk, I guess. ;)

Yeah, they still work for me, but I wake up in the morning and I'm really groggy and nauseous

It depends how tired I am. If I feel really tired I can fall asleep in a few hours. But, if I'm not too tired I'll toss and turn and not sleep for awhile and sometimes wake up and read or write instead until I feel tired.

It takes me 1 to 2 hours to fall asleep in bed.:( I'm always so tired in the morning.

Ususually when I'm really tired it takes me about 15 to 60 minutes to fall asleep.

With my major, (and career), sleep it virtually non-existant.

It usually takes me an hour. Pills or no pills. Heck, if I'm really tired, it takes longer.

Lately I been having troubles falling alseep So i got Tyneol PM at walmarts ever since i been taking them at nights I been sleeping pretty good..

Usually up to 30 minutes or less

It takes me over an hour to fall asleep.

Since I'm up until 3 AM and have to be up by 5...I fall asleep right when my head hits that pillow....that is, after I check 50 times to make sure the alarm clocks on. Isn't school just grand; better yet, isn't senior year of high school just grand?

Your lucky mate,it takes me hours............ I have ZZQUIL and it still takes me along time!

I guess I have so much anxiety (And not really a good place to sleep) that it takes me forever.....

I fall asleep fast within 15 minutes but I wake up about every 2 hours, which I hate.

Pretty quickly, my sleep combo works great and I start with it about 1.5 hrs before I hit my pillow...the wake ups happen but I get back to sleep right away, all part of my sleep combo.

I fall asleep fast except for when I'm sick, something is on my mind, or if I'm not in a good mood.
