It looked like in the 2nd season that Jack had feelings for Chrissy.He got jealous when she dated Lloyd Cross & Michael Winthroppc and didn't really mind Janet dating Peter Van Horn.Whassup Wit Dat?!

I think Jack just loved all his roommates as friends. He would get jealous because he would be worried when they went out on dates. He wanted them to be safe, and for nothing bad to happen to them.

I totally agree, he was also jealous of chrissy's dates in the first season and seemed flirtier with her too. yeah, what's up w/dat? may be the writter's where thinking of hooking them up, but later change their minds. :confused:

He was concern w/the dates Chrissy had I agree but he was just worried I think, like in the Terri season when she was going to marry that TV Star he didn't like that...everything w/Janet was different he always seem to be more concer w/her...at the end of that PVH epi he was there for her but she was stubborn like always and told him she could handle it!! Jack was just sweet w/all his rommies!! But he and Janet def. have that super chemistry!!!

Yeah it did seem like he liked her, but I think he was looking out for her and maybe he had feelings for her, I don't know. In seasons 3 and 4 Chrissy got dumber and I think he lost interest in her :lol: With Cindy, Jack was like her older brother, and he looked out for her, same with Terri. With Janet, it was different because yeah he looked out for her and cared for her, but he did get jealous sometimes. Like when his girlfriend's father asked her out, and Jack kept following them. And when Janet met Phillip for the first time, etc. So yeah it seemed he had feelings for Chrissy in the beginning, but they obviously went away and I think he focused on Janet a little more ;)

I thought it was really cute when Jack though Janet was in love with the young kid and he told terry "i take care of her i protect her and she goes around getting in trouble" :) but i don't think he ever seem jealous of janets dates. but he did chrissy. :wave:

In "Larry Loves Janet", I thought Jack's reaction when Larry tells him that he is in love with Janet was so cute. "My Janet!?"

How can anyone want Jack for Janet, he loved all women (at least wanted to sleep with all of them) and didn't have a job for more then a day. :rolleyes: Janet deserved a hero or least a gentlemen. :) after all not even janet wanted him. :D

Actually Jack did have a job for more than a day, at Angelino's and he owned a restaurant. IMO, Jack became less of a womanizer in the later seasons. He wasn't all about women in the later seaons, I think he became more responsible and serious after getting his restaurant. Janet did want a gentlemen and a hero, and I thought Jack was that and more :D I think they were perfect for each other, and I'm sorry if you don't see it, but most of us do ;)

When you said he was a freeloader and to look at the reasons you gave, whenever he borrowed money from the girls he always gave it back. I don't think Jack was that kind of person.

It's true that Jack has his faults, but you can't say he's never been there for the girls when they need him! Jack was always there as the girl's protector, friend, and most importantly cook! Without Jack, cooking for them, they would be starving themselves!:lol:

Calling Jack a "freeloader" is completely off! Jack buys his own food & cooks and before his steady job at Angelino's, he always would take small jobs to help pay the rent. Jack would even let Larry borrow money from him, knowing that Larry won't pay him back. Larry is more the "freeloader" than Jack is!;)

The reason Jack borrowed her car is because Larry talked him into it by saying that he'd get it washed or something like that as a suprise for Janet

I think that's because when they first met, he could only base his opinion of them on how they looked. And if you watch the beginning episodes, he clearly thinks Chrissy is much hotter. He's always trying to get in bed with her. He doesn't really have any interest in Janet. But as they live together and get to know each other more, Janet clearly becomes his favorite of the two. He doesn't physically persue either of them because he didn't want to ruin a good friendship, but it's obvious that, as the series goes on, Jack and Janet are best of friends. Not Jack and Chrissy like in the first two seasons.

I'm sure this is how the writers planned it out.
