Ok, I am still excited about Moonlighting coming out on DVD. Although it might not be coming out as soon as we like it still looks as though it might be coming out. So that brings me to a rather big pickle.

1) Lion's gate has purchased the DVD rights to Moonlighting. Herein lies my pickle. Lion's Gate is the producer of a few films that I do not agree with personally. I have not seen any recent movies they have made. Nor will I buy any DVD's they release. Which leaves my Moonlighting DVD's in peril.

So, I either compromise my principles and buy them or I don't and miss out on my favorite show of all time. Man I hate having strong moral convictions about stuff like this.

So i gotta figure out what I am going to do with this one. Darn it. When Buena Vista owned the rights everything was so much easier!!

I am pretty sure all film companies have done something "bad" at sometime and if they haven't a company closely connected with them will. I am of the opinion that all big business usually has some dodgy connection somewhere  Makes it hard to have principles unless you go for completely renouncing the whole modern world.

OK, maybe I am just cynical and this is not the place or the time for politics or anti-consumerism propoganda. And hey since I am here on this board and looking forward to the DVDs I have obviously failed myself  so enough and on with the serious business of discussing Moonlighting.

BlueMoonFan, if you have strong feelings on this one I hope you can square it with yourself and make the right decision for you :)

Really? Where did you read that they bought the rights, cause last I checked Buena Vista still owned the rights.

Lions Gate isn't that great of a DVD company, I know lots of people at SO aren't too happy with shows they've released already.
