Chrissy: Well...see Mrs. Roper, the world is made up of two kinds of people, twos and ones. Sometimes two ones become a two and other times one of the ones of the two gets tired of being a two and wants to become a one again, not that the other one of the two isn't a nice one, it's just that... two twos can't be a two without the one.
Steven: I'm shocked and happy. I'm shappy!

Tiger32 01-15-2002, 12:41 AM Wow, all of you guys are too young to remember when Three's Company was on in prime time. I was a teenager when the series debut on television in 1978. But it is good that the series is picking up new fans after all of these years. I guess syndication will do that for you. But right now all of the characters that played on the series are at least 50 years old and above. Don Knotts who played Mr Furly is now 75 years old. I am not sure if Norman Fell who played Mr. Roper is still alive, if he is, than he would also be in his 70s as well. John Ritter, Suzanne Sommers are well into their 50s as is Joyce Dewitt.

Norman Fell passed away in 1998 :(
"Three's Company" has seemed to be popular for a long time. I'm surprised that there are so many fans! I never heard of this show (I never heard of most shows lol) before October 2000, when it joined Nick-at-Nite. To bad TBS had neglected it to 6:05 AM in it's last days on that station :(
Josh9125 01-15-2002, 08:27 PM I am basically 15...my bday is February 13th! :)

Three's Company premiered in 1977.
Tiger32 01-16-2002, 11:32 PM You are correct, I remember watching it during my sophmore year of high school in 1978, but it actually began a year earlier in the spring of 1977 (March 15). Thanks for the correction. It was long running series, 1977-1983 (150 episodes).

Acually it lasted until 1984 with 172 episodes lol
I wish I was alive back then. It would be cool to watch ABC in the70s.
Tiger32 01-17-2002, 07:08 PM Thanks again for the correction, I was looking at a web page that listed the run dates of 1977-1983. But I think your information is correct.
As far as growing up in the 70s goes, it was great. My fondest memories in life are from the 70s. Life seemed to be so much more simpler back then. However, the clothes and the hair styles were outragous, but it was all done in fun. Some of the greatest music ever recorded came from the 70s as well. But it is the television programs that I remember most from that decade. Most people relied on network programming at that time, because cable television was just beginning, and very few people had cable back then. Therefore a lot of competition was generated between the three networks: ABC, CBS, and NBC. I remember ABC being on top most of those years, because many of their programs tended to target families. Whereas much of NBC and CBS programming tended to target mostly adults. But of course that would all change in the 80s, as cable became very popular and provided alternative programming, and as NBC and CBS started focusing more on family oriented programming.

Brad Russ 03-14-2002, 05:55 AM I'm a 20 year old male and have been watching reruns of this show for the last 12 years.
FoxTailMusic 04-05-2002, 04:57 AM I'm male and 25. It's really great to see so many young people enjoying Three's Company. I started watching the show when I was 5 in 1982-83. Don't really remember much about those years, but I do remember growing up watching the re-runs.
