show would have lasted more than 2 seasons. I think it made more sense to air Flo after Alice until it gained a large fan base and then maybe put the show on it's own night after 2 or 3 seasons. I think the show only did well in season 1 because Mash was the lead in for that night. Flo finished #7 after season 1 and after season 2 well you know the rest-lol

it might have done well after alice but they would have had to make the show a whole lot better imho. because the few times i watched it while i was wating for lou grant to come on. it wasant good i think you had it pegged right when you said it was a time slot sucuess mash was in the midist of a good season that year and cbs had what you would now call a must see lineup on monday
