This may sound like a crazy question but I watch tv shows and movies. When someone is getting beat up usually one bad guy is holding the person down. While the one doing the punching punches the beat-up person in the face and in the stomach. I heard that being punched in the stomach hurts than being punched in the face. As you can all tell, I have never, ever had that experience and hope I never will. But what is it like being punched in the stomach? Just wondering out of curiousity that's all!

Getting punched in the stomach doesn't leave much of a mark.

Getting punched in the stomach totally knocks the air out of you. My little sister did it to me when I was about 8. :mad:

People know better than to punch me in the stomach. ;)

I've been punched in the stomach twice.....by a basketball. It really hurt, though.

yeah, my brother accidently kicked me hard in the stomach. it's hard to breathe for a while and kind of hurts. some girl at school threw a basketball at me once and almost knocked the air out of me.

my cousin did it to me when were kids for those of who have never had it done to you . IT HURTS BIG tiME

And you should know that in the movies they use SFX BUT in real life is not a box of chocolates to be punched there

Oh that reminds me..I was in a nasty spill while riding my bike, and the handle bar drilled me right between the ribs, just above the stomach area. I couldn't breathe for almost a minute. My friend was there containing his laugher, but I couldn't blame him. It probably looked pretty funny.

Nope, only by my brother. I once punched someone in the stomach though for really pissing me off at a party, and believe me it made them back off, but other than that I had no other experience either way with it.

Holy crap... I've been punched in the stomach way too many times. Usually by my sister, when we're beating the living **** out of eachother, and it's so hard to breathe. I just stand there gasping for air and doubling over in pain. A punch in the jaw compared to one in the stomach is a piece of cake.

I probably did a few times fighting when I was a little kid. It really hurts, I can't even explain it...it's not a normal hurt, it's different. Erm..

I got punched in the stomach when I was yelling at these ass holes who were spreading rumors about one of my former friends. They started beating me up, but I one against them both in the end. Of course that could of been their height, they were about 2 feet shorter.

Anywho, getting punched in the stomach is not a pleasent feeling. :boxing:

ah good that you won:D Yeah its really unpleasant, because it leaves your stomach sore for a few minutes after getting hit.

I'd take getting punched in the stomach over getting kicked in the nuts any day.
