View Full Version : Anyone besides me who doesn't like going out on a date on Friday or Saturday?
TVFactFan 10-08-2004, 01:19 PM I prefer Sun-Thursday to go out to dinner or where ever because everything is less crowded(restarunts) and it's not as jammed packed on the roads. Dating on Monday and tuesday is a very relaxing experience to me. Some people think they won't be cool if they stay home on a Friday or Saturday Night and that has never been the case with me. I like spending quiet evenings at home on Fridays or saturdays.

You've never been home on a Friday or Saturday Night.... or you've never been cool??
;)
Anyways, I get what your saying, but going out a Friday or Saturday night makes much more sense.... for most people it means no work in the morning, so there's no rush to get home.

Yep. The weekend is the only time I'd go out. During the week, I'd be too anxious about oversleeping and being late for work. Though I did attend two weeknight concerts this summer without a problem, I was just sleepy the next day after the first one. I don't mind weekend crowds. Living in NYC, you'd better be used to it.

The rent in that area where the real world cast lived $1200-$5000, i live in the $600-$900 area-lol they have nice restarunts around there. I heard the real world cast was harrassed by people who live in the city everywhere they went
Dutabi84 10-08-2004, 02:56 PM I've only really gone out on Friday/Saturday nights. It just ends up being the most convenient time for that.

I think that the case for most people because all restaurunts are jammed packed on those two nights.lol I hate waiting for a hour to get into a restarunt.

My friend's sister does PR work for MTV so she's friends with a lot of the Real World cast:)
Cashodeen 10-08-2004, 06:16 PM I can understand that... the crowds can be a pain. But then of course, as it's been said, the draw back for most people is having to get up early the next day after going out on a weeknight. Heheh, an advice column I've read, actually suggests a guy asks a girl out for just the weeknights when he's first seeing her because then he'll appear more challenging by not asking her out on the "big date nights." Because yeah... it would be a little unusual to be asked out on a night other than Fri. and Sat. I would wonder what the guy was doing on Fri. and Sat. that would be more important than me! Lol... that is, if he didn't have a reason like, "I think it's a little too crowded to go out most places on Fri. and Sat. nights." Personally, I still prefer those nights anyway despite over-crowding.
