I thought it was well done when the show had episodes when Alice, Linda Lavin, got to sing. I enjoyed the songs she did except when she sung with Martha Raye, Do You Think I'm Sexy. I thought it was inappropriate for that character to sing that song. I love her show tunes. It fit well with her. The songs she did that I enjoyed was "It's Wonderful Marvelous" from the episode when Tommy was working at the juice bar and threatened to quit school. Alice came and worked there. She really sung that song very powerful. I love the episode when Joel Grey guest starred and they did some show tunes together. That was outstanding.

i liked those eps where she sang i agree about the do ya think im sexy thing that was awful but the first tim i saw that i laughed at the pure badness of it as for the joel grey ep. i loved the part where alice sang i am romona from az.
