About the trip... It was excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, I had such a wonderful time!!!! Not only because we met Cybill, but 'cos I also met two grrrreeeaaattt people, of course Taz and Stephieee :D They're awsome!! :D

Well, Cybill was gorgeous, really. We had the chance to see with our own eyes how she looked, and I can tell you she's still beautifull... She was fantastic, making everybody laugh out loud, well, we had a terrific time, no words to describe it! Well, Taz and Steph made a great review!!

I know it`s been a while since Cybills book has been published and it`s probably old news for most of you but i would just like to say that i `ve finally got hold of a copy , it was really hard to get and was completely sold out in the UK so i had to order mine from the good old USA, and it arrived today Yippee!! At the moment i`m fighting the incredible urge to skip to the part about her and Bruce but im staying strong and am going to read from the start and work my way through ( i am looking forward to some interesting and eye - opening reading over the next few weeks . )
When i have read it i will probably be posting my views about the book on this thread so i hope everyone that has already read it will be able to join in with me.

Thats great Luar, i`m currently on the chapter about her and Elvis. If you havn`t already got up to that bit then your`e in for some terrific insight . So far i have been transfict and captivated by Cybill`s book,boy has she led a very colourful life( no inhabitions whatsoever)Talk about girl power!and i can`t wait to get to the part about her and Bruce aswell:D :wave:

Well i have read quite alot of it, it`s the kinda book that once you start reading you can`t put it down. AND i `ve just finished reading the chapter on the Moonlighting days, WOW!!
I had no idea that Cybill was there when Bruce first auditioned for the part, I think it was kinda cute that Bruce found it hard to make eye contact with Cybill at their first meeting (although we were later to find out that he wasn`t so shy with Cybill soon after :D )
Once thing that did puzzle me a little was, to me she kept jumping back and forwards with the time frame and i found it a little to hard to understand on what dates did certain things happened . For example the LA-ZEE- BOY incident , now i know it happened before she met Oppenheim but did anyone gather the WHEN! i assume it must have been during the first season or possible even the pilot.Now after reading about her other liasons i am REALLY surprised that she let Bruce leave so easily ;)
Also did i read correct that she had a quick tumble with Don Johnson during the making of The Long Hot Summer, o.m.g! ( Some girls get all the luck!) :)

She read the part about Elvis out loud in London!

I read the book when I was 16 and didn't tell my mom exactly what it was about. I just told her it was fun, not that it was about Cybill doing all that stuff with men and discribing almost everything in detail LOL!

My mom sat in the back of the room when Cybill read it and I was kinda wishing her to stop reading because I didn't want my mom to know what I had been reading LMAO!!

I found the part about Elvis not wanting to do a certain activity! with Cybill funny and the fact that she had to teach him how was really funny.
And i didn`t realise up untill now that , the guru part and the scene in the desert and all that spiritual stuff in that episode of CYBILL was written for Bruce! Why oh why oh why didn`t he do it , i don`t understand why , i mean according to Cybill it was his idea to come on the show in the first place.Talk about being so close and yet so far , we nearly got to see them acting together on again.:(

I had no idea that Cybill had had an abortion before , it must have been a really hard decision for her to make.When a woman ends a pregnancy it`s not done lightly .Although i have never gone through such a situation like that myself ( all three of my children were planned and wanted) i think it takes more courage to end a pregnancy than it does to continue with it sometimes. Obviously it must still hold sad memories for Cybill as she doesn`t go into much detail , like who the father was?.

I think this book is fascinating , i`ve never read a autobiography before where the author was so open and honest about their life. Right now i`m on the part about `CYBILL` the sitcom Cybill produced and starred in after Moonlighting finished. ( I`ll let you know my views soon ):)
