Austin Tripper 10-07-2004, 05:15 AM You know the more I think about it & actually my brother and I were talking about this today..
WE will NEVER see another person EVER get so much love shown to them when they die!
WE see Celebrities, Presidents, etc die all the time & NEVER does TV make a big deal out of it after 2 days..
John had over a MONTH! Specials on ABC, ET almost everynight & then on their weekend show, A&E... etc...etc..etc!!! What about all the TV News people all sad telling personal stories!!
There is no one I can think of that if they died today would get 1/4 of the LOVE shown on TV & by everyone, everyday people then John Ritter!
John Touched EVERYONE!!
NEVER Again will we see something like that! :) John you were so special
MoonFlower 10-07-2004, 07:04 AM i didn't know he died so close to his birthday. he did get a lot of specials n stuff, but i think that a lot has to do because his death was so sudden, he deserve everyone of them though. thanks for the links.
M4cong 10-07-2004, 03:36 PM Thanks for sharing !!! Wow---reality sure hit me when I saw his name on that stone. I would love to go pay my respects at the grave in person. Maybe someday. :(
Janet McFarland 10-07-2004, 03:54 PM Wow  I'm not surprised that he got so much respect when he died, he was a great man, and noone can replace him. :( And M4cong, I would like to visit his grave too :(
I Love John Ritter 10-07-2004, 06:09 PM Man, this post got me depressed. Yes, John is loved very much. I still miss him to this day. It isn't fair that such a wonderful person had to be taken out of this world way too soon.
I have been to that site before, and I have left a few messages already. I don't think I want to visit his grave, it would be too hard for me.
John was the only person in hollywood that I got upset about when I heard of his passing, and I think he will be the only one.
R.I.P. John Ritter, I  you sweetheart.
Terri Cardellini 10-07-2004, 08:40 PM I'm going to California this May and i'm going visit his grave, put down a flower or two. it's so sad though:(
jjlover 10-10-2004, 03:09 PM WOW!! Thats amazing. I'm not surprised at all. John was a great person. He will always be remembered. :)
Auntie 03-19-2005, 09:07 PM Wow  I'm not surprised that he got so much respect when he died, he was a great man, and noone can replace him. :( And M4cong, I would like to visit his grave too :(
I'm not surprised that so many people had so much love for him. He had soo much love for everyone else as well. Even when Amy Yasbeck was on the other day on 'The View', speaking about her new show next week, she spoke so loving about him. They were even asking her how she and her daughter (Stella) were doing. I'll ALWAYS miss him. :jack To this day, I still shake my head and say, why him? :( :crying:
Three's Company 03-19-2005, 11:06 PM I have been to that site a lot and have posted a few messages also. I can not believe that there are that many message for him on that site either.
Kristen J. 03-20-2005, 01:50 AM Thanks for sharing !!! Wow---reality sure hit me when I saw his name on that stone. I would love to go pay my respects at the grave in person. Maybe someday. :(Someday, I know I will visit. Maybe my mom and I. We both have a lot to say to him. Seeing his name craved in stone, really hits you hard. I've seen it before, but I've tried so hard to stay away from that site because it still hurts. Seeing it again helped me let it all out. I'm crying while I write this! I have this bear my mom gave me and she said whenever I miss John, I can just hug him tight. Coming here also helps. Here, people get me because they are just like me. I don't feel alone anymore and I don't feel shallow for crying my eyes out over the death of a guy I never met. It doesn't matter that I never met him, he changed my life all for the good. We don't have a lot of people like John in this world and it is a great loss when we do loose people like him. He truly is. . . one of a kind. :)

Those were very nice words and you are right. I get sad sometimes when celebrities I like die but John Ritter was the one that hit me the hardest. All he ever did was make me laugh and he still does that today whenever I watch any of his shows. He was one special person.
