Ant-Lox 10-07-2004, 01:36 AM If You do check reviews before you buy whats the place you most likely will check first?
I always check the tvshowsondvd site for their reviews, because their short and simple...

ultimatedisney.com(kick ass reviews)
that's about all :)
vashti1999 10-07-2004, 10:07 AM I don't often read alot of tv-dvd reviews just because (most of the time) if it's a show I want, like Good Times, I'm getting it no matter what. I read comments in dvd forums more than reviews, but I do sometimes read reviews on dvdtalk, dvdfile (though it looks like that site is dead), home theater forum, here (sitcoms online), and occasionally tvshowsondvd. Classic TV Hits (http://www.classictvhits.com/promotions/) has some decent reviews. They have one guy in particular on that site who is an absolute great writer. He really writes the best reviews I've ever seen, very detailed. Truly outstanding. I can't say it enough how great this guy is. Classic TV Hits (http://www.classictvhits.com/promotions/) And his name isn't Tim. :p

Dean Winchester 10-07-2004, 06:06 PM I hope Vashti and Tim don't get too mad at me, but I happened to refer ONE person (and the only person I will refer, but he is not a sitcom person at all, he's more or less into the sci-fi type of shows that were in blue) to the site and he's currently in status of being approved because he just sent his contract in. I'm about the only person on there whose tastes are similar to his so you don't have to worry about his mittens snatching up any sitcoms or anything. He's my best friend and when he moves to Kentucky next year, will be more (we talk all the phone all the time, every night for the past 6 mos), so I felt like I owed it to him to refer him to Stephen because h was always asking "can you as the owner to add me?" because he was so jealous about me getting all these free DVDs, lol. But don't worry, I am the only one he'd be fighting with for DVD's, he's more into Roswell and Highlander than Roseanne and Happy Days.

I take back the "mastermind" statement.

lol, unless you become a huge fan of either The WB or Sci-Fi Channel, you don't have to worry about Eric fighting over any shows you like

Ive got dibs on Jack & Bobby if and when it happens.
You heard it from me first....
other than that, I couldnt be phased with WB. (unless of course Carsey-Werner decides to release Grounded For Life)
slackermonkey 10-07-2004, 10:08 PM TVDVDReviews.com (http://www.tvdvdreviews.com) gives excellent reviews, but they usually only review specific shows. TVShowsonDVD (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com) is more varied, but they're a little too brief for me. Still, those two are my favorites.

Hadn't heard of that one before, but it looks interesting. Thanks for the link.
Dean Winchester 10-11-2004, 10:54 AM yayayay, Eric is now added to the "Staff Directory" at Classictvhits
Dean Winchester 10-19-2004, 03:14 AM let's give a warm round of applause to ClassicTVHits/ClassicMovieHits.com's newest reviewer....
Brad aka AKA!!!!
:notworthy  :clap
Dean Winchester 10-19-2004, 04:11 AM also welcome Christine and Rob
Stephen told me he thinks we have enough people, which is fine. He's already got the cream de'la cream of SO (Tim, Brad, Vashti and me) and I've already gotten my #1 crush (Eric) and one of my best friends (Christine) jobs there, so... good times.
