View Full Version : Name my kitties!!!!
ABlairican Pie 10-06-2004, 10:14 PM I now have two kittens, one an orange tabby and the other a gray/black/orange tortoiseshell, both females, in need of names.
They were originally named Marco (as in Marco Polo) and Huckleberry (as in Huckleberry Finn) due to their love for exploring. I am trying to find the perfect names for them!!!
The first pair of names I've been suggested are:
Ginger and Mary Ann
Another:
Bella and Buttercup
Anyone have any more ideas? :idea:

We always name our cats after our favorite writers (Thackery, Austen, Lewis, Bronte, etc.) That might work. We're also into Shakespearian names for some reason: Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth, Desdemona, ... okay, you asked an English major, what'd ya expect? ;)
I had a couple of kitties who were brother and sister. The brother kitty always took the lead and the sister kitty always followed. So I named them Pete and Re-pete. Except I shortened Repeat's name to Reper. They were a couple of cuties.
How about Lucy and Ethel or Karly and Babes Cat?
