Very is the next-worse character on this show after Jolene. Chrissy on THREE'S COMPANY was dumb in a cute and innocent way. She made the show sparkle. Vera was was dumb in an annoying way. She made you want to slap her and tell her to just go the hell away.

There is a tenuous "Three's Company"/"Alice" connection. Valerie Curtin played Vera in the "Alice Doesn't Live Here Any More" movie, and she also played one of John Ritter's roommates in the first, unaired pilot of "Three's Company". But she played the Janet prototype role, not Chrissy.

Chrissy by a long shot. Her stupidness was just overbearing and nerve grating especially in the fourth season. Over the years on Alice Vera did smarting up. She wasn't dumb it was more naive and timid.
