In the episode "The Wedding" (5x22/5x23) there are two endings to 5x22 - One in which Maxwell arrive to rescue the women and one which ends when Fran is on the phone with the policeman (in this version he finds the women in the beginning of 5x23).

In the version where Maxwell rescues the women in 5x22, there is a short teaser scene in the end where Fran and Sylvia are sitting in Sylvia's kitchen and Sylvia is eating Fran's REGULAR underwear, after they got home. This scene is not included in the version that ends with Fran on the phone with the policeman. Now, my question is... was the underwear scene included in the original broadcast of this episode?

I happen to own a copy of the original broadcast, and I do remember that scene being in there somewhere. I think the difference in versions comes about when Lifetime shows it as a 2-parter rather than back-to-back. They do something similar with the finale. Sometimes you see the curtain call, sometimes you don't.

The version not using the "underwear scene" on a british network
and the version showing the "underwear scene" on a scandinavian network.
