Sounds like Groening realizes that the fans want more than one season a year. We're still getting commentaries and all the other goodies, but at a faster pace, I guess season 6 will be June 05, season 7 Dec 05, and so on.

I think eventually the gaps between releases will be smaller and smaller.... maybe only five months to the Season 6, four to Season 7, three to 8, and then release the rest every two months.
But then of course, I wake up.



This is GREAT news. I still haven't finished Season 4, but I will soon.
I wonder what color it will be.... Im thinking a yellow/gold.

I think the reason this is occurring is because the show went digital during season 14, which takes up much less time, so the creative staff now has more time to record commentary tracks and such.
