OMG. Today I was listening to the radio at my friends house and they said on-air that they are taking caller 97 to be in a studio contest to win the last pair of tickets to see Usher in Philly. So I grabbed my cell and looked at my friend and said "It's all about the timing" and I called. I WAS CALLER 97..so they say "BHT your 97 who is this" and I said "Theresa" and they say "Theresa are you 18" and I said "Let me get my mom" and then I heard a click. THE ****ERS HUNG UP! I was pissed and I called back and I was like "Why did you hang up on me?" and they said "who is this?" so I explained the situation and they said "we're terribly sorry, but you can come down to the studio and watch the contest" and I said "Thats not gonna get me the last pair of tix" and he's like "well I'm sorry I already gave away the spot." How lucky am I? :mad:

They wouldn't even give you time to get your mother's permission? Nice station. Then they should say on air no one under 18 is allowed to call in.

Yeah, a lot of things are 18+ around here. I won tickets to KISS 95.7's party... I just lied and gave them my mother's name. That way when she went with me to pick up the tickets, we had no problem.

You should have said you were 18 years old and not say hold on Let me get my mom.. Its a radio station they have other callers on the line to win the usher tickets ..... You need to be ontop of these things.. If u say "Hold on let me get my mom" They are thinking your not of age you have to be a certain age to get tickets off the radio!!! .....Next time you do that have someone older then you do it then u get the tickets.

Gosh I am surprised that they bought that with you. Didn't you have to show like your birth certificate or driver's license.

That is the worst MissZero! To have great luck--being caller 97--and then having it taken away from you like that! I am appalled at the station for hanging up on you like that. They needed to keep you on the line to at least explain that you had to be 18. But what stupid rule anyways. They suck!!! :livid:

Karly had a good idea for getting her KISS tickets. Too bad you weren't able to use that plan.

Well yeah, they ask for a driver's license- but remember, I gave them my mother's name when I called... so they just assumed it was her who called in.
