I thought it was a funny show and
it was very funny to see they let Peter Boyle's blooper stay in the show. They got some guts and a
genuine funny streak to them to
let it go. And it worked. It had
be a blooper. Marie came out with
a line about keeping her mouth
shut and Peter started his wiseguy answer but began to choke as he seemed to suck some food down his
throat. It was stange. Then he
said, "I'm sorry, I was eating.
Set me up again." And you can see
Doris smiling and trying not to
laugh and goes on with her dialog
with Debra. And Debra's smiling too.
So Peter (and in character as Frank)
just sorta shrugs and goes back to
eating. It was funny. But in watching
it again, when Peter starts to choke
you can see Doris's outstretched
hand reach to Peter with some fear.
She was scared for a moment. But
they all stayed in character. So,
funny, but scary too. But it had
a blooper.

I've been to tapings of ELR and they do that...they will leave in a blooper if it's funny. And usually they are...all 5 of them are seasoned comic actors.
