without Larry, Janet, Terri and Mr. Furley? Basically it was season 9 of Three's Company and that's why no viewers could get into the show. Maybe Janet should have been on TAC-lol

Yes 'Three As A Crowd' was to be a spinoff of TC. In fact I remember seeing a couple of episodes of it before it was cancelled. The show was tanked because many diehard fans felt that Jack ahould have hooked up with Janet in the end instead of bringing in someone new. If you saw the tv movie based on TC it would answer a lot of questions.

I remember "Three's a Crowd". It was a snooze! Larry did show up in some episodes if I remember correctly. But that was maybe one or two episodes and even that wasn't the same as TC. Well, it was so abrupt the way they made the transition of Jack marrying Vicky. Cancelling TC and just having Jack in the show didn't make sense then, and it does not make any sense now.

Because I always disagreed with other members who said Janet should be on TAC in the past.

What would make Three's A Crowd, Three's Company if it didn't have all those characters? It was not basically season 9 of the show.

It's kind of like Archie Bunker's Place, after All in the Family ended. Or After Mash, when Mash ended. When a show changes so drastically, they have to transform it into a new show.
