Has anyone ever heard of this case? It's never been on Unsolved Mysteries, but I sent it in as a story while the show was still on the air.

Several years ago, I read a magazine article, "Where are the children
lost in a mysterious fire?" about the five missing children of George
and Janet Sodder. Their home burned down on Christmas Eve 1945. The fire
was supposedly caused by defective wires although lights were seen on
after the fire was started. No remains of the five children were ever
found in the fire and it was the parents who believed their children
were kidnapped and the fire created to cover it up. I'm very inrested in
knowing if this case ever happened or if it was just fabricated.
