A month or so... it was all annoying and gross, so I took it off.

I think I had one on for three months before my mother cut it off because of some formal event or an Irish dancing competition.:D

Like a week and a half. It was the most annoying thing I've ever worn, but they wouldn't let me take it off.

I don't understand this thread ? When you get home from the hospital just take it off or if it won't come off easily , cut it off with scissors right ?

Why would you keep it on ? Am I missing something here or WTF is this thread even about/ what is the point of it ??

This thread may not be necessarily talking about hospitals ... here in our area, 4-H clubs members are given a wrist band for entry into the fair (fair last one week)

About 6 or 7 years ago my wife and I had to wear a special one to get into the floor that a grandchild was in at a Children's Hospital. It had her photo and our photo, plus listing us as "grandparents." If we wanted to go visit her we had to wear it until she was dismissed as only one was allowed to be issued. (not sure why)
