How good is the music from Ashlee Simpson's CD? I have been thinking of buying it sometime, but have only heard two songs so far: "Peices Of Me" and "Shadow". Which are both good songs in my opinion. Would the CD be worth buying?

Before her CD came out, I thought of her as the anti-Christ. I spent my last 12 bucks, for some odd reason that I'm still unaware of, on her CD.

It was the best 12 bucks I've ever spent. The album is AWESOME. It's not bubble-gummy either.

You should defintly get it....I still dont have it though....I'll probably get it for Christmas

My dad ordered her CD for me so i should be getting it soon. It seems like a good CD i like her songs "Pieces of Me" and "Shadow".

It's a great CD and you should definitely buy it.. the songs are awesome :D

The album is pretty good. I just bought it today. All the songs on the album are listenable. My fave songs from the album are: Pieces of Me, Shadow, Lala, Love Makes the World go Round and Surrender. I would definetely reccommend this album to buy. She writes all her own songs, too. I think she's a much better singer than her sister, Jessica Simpson.

yeah. u think theyre gonna make another season? no. ashlees too good for MTV now. shes damn lucky that MTV even gave her a show. ashlee doesnt have any talent, it went platinum because sadly, our country is filled with mindless teenies who will buy anything the media says is "cool" and ashlee is the "cool thing" this month. jessica doesnt have any talent. she ruins every song she has ever sang. her voice makes me cringe. i can sing ten times better than she ever will, and i have, thank you.

oh trust me, the 2 songs i've heard is enough. yeah, she "co-wrotes" her songs, meaning has people write it for her and then she approves it. she cant sing, she cant act, shes a spoiled brat, and shes not even attractive. what does she have going for her? NOTHING

If her album is the best you ever bought you really should consider expanding your collection. So what if she writes her own music so does Alicia Keys and she exactly plays an instrument too, and so does Norah Jones and she plays an instrument too, and Angie Stone writes her own music, and so does Jill Scott, ooooh and don't forget about Joss Stone, and don't forget Skye Sweetnam (I'm pretty sure she plays an instrument). And, you may find this surprising, but they actually have what you might call singing talent! Start listening to these artists and I guarantee you'll be using your Ashlee CD as a drink coaster!

For the last time people SHE NEVER SAID SHE WAS A PUNK. she did say "i sing punk music actually", and chances are she was mistaken about what punk music is or it was a misleading statement and we dont know what she meant. and she wore that "punk" shirt in her video, who cares. if it had said "country music singer" would you be calling her a poser because her music isnt country? i really doubt it. if i wore a shirt that said "fashion diva" would that mean im a poser because im not really a fashion diva?

I'm just explaining that there are better people in the music industry.....listing some actual artists that write their own songs/compose/produce/arrange/play music. I don't care if you choose to listen to Ashlee Simpson, I'm just sayin that there are more talented people in the industry that are better to listen to than Ashlee.
