My idea of a great evening is staying home! I go out with friends every Saturday night (except for tonight since I have the flu), but I've gotten to the point where I'm just not interested in going to bars anymore. I would perfer just to sit home and watch movies, read a book, listen to a good CD, watch tv, play with my dog and cat...

Great evening..would include getting wasted, playing poker, and videogames. Wow, what a fabulous evening that would be for me. I miss nights like those.

I got to that point in my life, too. You just get so tired of the bar scene. I do go out, not as much as I used to. I like staying home now.

But a great evening for me(that doesn't include my boyfriend)would be to go to a concert and be able to meet the musical act afterwards.

^ here, here. I'm not a partier, I'm not a drinker...so I'm a stay-at-home boring type.

Either that or shopping. But I'd go shopping anytime!

An ideal evening for I, would a night of dancing to an awesome band; and drinking champagne, and hanging out with good friends.

My idea of a good evening is staying at home and playing with my cat, listen to some music, watch a little tv, write a song or part of a play and playing the keyboard. With the exception of shopping once in awhile and sometimes going to the bank to make a deposit, I rarely go out and do stuff unless it's with family.

Sure! Well, I'd get wasted in the process of playing poker. Although I tend to play a lot more loose that way.

My idea of a great evening? I suppose it depends on my mood.
If it's a weeknight then I'd rather just stay infront of the TV, drinking. I'm so tired after work that I can't be arsed doing anything that requires any effort.
I guess my ideal evening would consist of going to a decent gig and having a few drinks. That's what I'm planning on doing tomorrow anyway (I'm going to see Bowling For Soup - thanks for asking :p ).
I used to spend every Saturday night at the pubs in town. It's not really my thing but ........ well, there was a girl involved. You know how it is - "she's gonna be there so I've got to be there too" kinda thing  . Unfortunately, she's pretty much completely out of the picture now so I very rarely go back to all my old drinking haunts. I've been back a few times since she bailed and it hasn't been very much fun. :(

I'm not into going clubbing or being extremely "social." I like to stay in a lot, but when I do go out my favorite things to do are to just have a cocktail or two, a nice dinner, then see a movie. Bar-hopping and clubbing never really appealed to me.

Hmm, it depends on my mood. ;)

Right now, since it's October and all, I'd like to be curled up under the covers with the windows open so that the cool breeze could come through with the smell of fall in the air, all of the lights off, orange candles lit, a big bowl of popcorn and a horror movie marathon going all night long.

No, but it looks really good. And I love anything that has to do with horror/suspense so I've been hoping to check it out. The trailers alone have been creeping me out.

A great evening to me is to go out for an early dinner with my husband, then come home and watch a rented dvd. I love being home.

The movers come tomorrow. It's all the beforehand stuff that's worse. Moving day is the easiest.

And webwarrior, just look at my avatar. I think my husband and I are the only Republicans in Mass. Kidding.

Probably 'cause most of us here have enjoyed the occasional drink. ;)
