For anyone who is interested, I have been EXTREMELY busy putting all the seasons onto DVD. Right now, I have seasons 1-7 on DVD and will be completely finished in the next month with the last 2 seasons. The episodes have originated from DirecTV and I have completely eliminated the VHS, so the sound and picture are excellent! The episodes have been digitially edited to remove the commercials and are in order.

In the first 7 seasons there are 173 episodes, I have only 1 episode that is not of excellent quality and did not originate from DirecTV, but the rest are perfect. If anyone is interested in trading/buying these please contact me.

The DVDs come with labels, cases and artwork. I love trades, but if you have nothing to trade, the price is $20 per season plus shipping. I'll keep you posted as to when I finish the complete series, as it has been a LONG process.

20 bucks is a lot for a season of episodes recorded off tv. Even if they are on dvd i presume they come from nick@nite/oxygen so they arent even uncut... but well its better than nothing i guess

I think you should lower the price... I understand where you're coming from because I know from experience that converting TV shows to DVD takes forever, but no one will buy them for that much...

The episodes have come from N@N, oxygen and a local channel, I'm not sure what the running time for the original ABC airing is, but each episode comes in at 21 minutes and approx. 40 seaconds. I've watched and loved the show since the original airing and I don't see anything missing, but of course, I've seen the sydicated versions many.. many... many times, and won't at this point know if anything was missing now. :)

I have now completed 8 seasons and the ninth will be complete next week. I have attached a picture of the quality of the episodes.

I am completely willing to trade/ sell for a lesser price. Does $14 seem fair for just the disks? No artwork, labels or cases. I'm not trying to rip anyone off, just helping out anyone who wants the series. In the next few days, I'll upload a picture of the artwork too.

I tried to do this in one post, but I could only submit 1 picture at a time, so here is a picture of the lesser quality episode which is season 6 episode 10.

Are you sure that you have all of every episode? Some chanels I have noticed don't show the ending tag, or may edit sime of Roseanne's cussing a bit ( like the word "whore").

See, these eps are from Nick@Nite, and i guess other american networks too, so yes there are parts of the episodes cut out.

Well, I have now completed the series and have the entire series on DVD. YEAH!! FINALLY!!! party:

Well, I can only do the best with what I have. So, I can't add anything that is not in the (yes) tv airings. :D

So, I guess some parts have been cut from the syndication, but hey, I'm glad to have the complete set on DVD without commercials.

Yes, I do take money orders, paypal or trades. And it took a while, but here is a full resolution screen shot. Hope this helps.

Okay, well I haven't been sucessful at posting a full resolution picture... I think it is too big a file, even with slight compression. So, if you want to see a full resolution picture, just email me and I'll send you a picture.

You do know this is illegal? You could also be messing up any chances of Roseanne coming to DVD. If they see people selling copies, they might figure why bother to release it if people are buying bootleg copies?

allow me to step in if i could?

1st up.......Candy! wow! you have everything! LOL!

was just surfing the boards. Ive had GOOD experiences trading with Candi in the past. she delivered with flying colors on our trade of COACH. Candi, i took your advice and re-captured coach directly into my TIVO drive when it re-aired this past month. quality turned out to be a 10/10. awesome!

next up.......

20 bucks for 1 season too expensive?? are you crazy?? anyone, like myself, that has assembled any sitcom show on DVD knows exactly the amount of work it requires. endless hours! editing, transcoding to DVD format. assembling menu's etc.... not sure what software you use to assemble? im using adobe Encore. you can make some impressive menu's with it, but the transcode time takes forever and a day per DVD.

if you look at the cost of tv show DVD's you buy in the store (Threes company, Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team, Cheers etc...) you will see that her 20 bucks per season price is more then reasonable.

furthermore, she assembled her own personal DVD of Roseanne because its NOT released. had it been released she wouldn't have had to make her own. atleast that's how i felt about COACH.
you may also want to consider that if you were actualy to sit around and wait for them to release all seasons of Roseanne you may be waiting a while! studios typicly release season 1 of a show and see how sales go before releasing the next season and the next.......

EX: cheers (you can only get the 1st 3 seasons on dvd)
threes company (only 1st 3 seasons availiable)
different strokes (only season 1 availiable)
dukes of hazzard (only season 1)
knight rider (only season 1)

the list goes on and on........

and i assume that if you were to make a purchase in this situation that you would be giving a DONATION and you would be receiving the personal set of rossane on DVD as a GIFT. wink! wink!

all i say, is you should attempt to assemble your own dvd of your favorite tv show and then tell me 20 bucks per season is too much?

NO dis-respect intended to anyone! just some people expect you to give things away. its a very time consuming hobby! last time i checked DVD R discs to make copies aren't free. neither are cases, printing artwork etc.......

cheers all

I know that its a lot of work to convert TV shows to DVD and yes, if you buy a real copy from a store, it is $20... but you also get lots of extras, and its a REAL copy, not a bootleg. And I recently learned that selling stuff you tape off TV is DEFINETELY illegal because I was trying to do it and I was informed that it was illegal. I think I'll wait until it really comes out... until then, I have some episodes of my own on DVDs that I have made so I can survive for the next year...

Anyone who claims their 18 disc set of 222 episodes is great or even very good quality is 1) clinically blind or 2) a scam arist. I am in the progress (80% - 90% complete) of compiling a 44-disc set with 5 episodes per disc. This is first and foremost for myself as a big Roseanne fan. I realize that it will darn near impossible to trade, or as others mentioned "sell" because it will take a full day to burn a 44 disc set. But at least for me, quality is important enough to take the time.

By the way, this is my first post so  hello!
