I dont think Janet and Jack shouldnt because they were too much like brother and sister. Not Chrissy(too dumb). He be in the hospital if he married Cindy and Mrs Roper was WAY too old 4 him. I think him and Terri were a good couple. They got along, they werent really close like brother and sister and they looked good. Whacha think?

Jack should have married Janet. After living together for 7 years...it just seems so right! They were there for each other through thick and thin...they lived through 3 blondes together, they lived through the Ropers, they lived through Mr. Furley. They liked each other so much and were best friends. They knew everything about each other. They even had their arguements, just like a married couple! They had a great friendship and should have been together. But what happened? Vicky and Phillip!!! I didnt like them at all! So anyway...
Jack Tripper and Janet Tripper...sounds perfect!

Jack could have married Chrissy if she stayed the way she was in Season One...smart and sophisticated...but i agree, she was way too dumb. She reeeaaaallllyyyy confused him sometimes....

If Jack married Cindy, he'd break every bone in his body. I think they look cute together! But that would have never worked out....

Jack and Terri...maybe...i guess...

I agree wholeheartedly w/ Sitcomsgrl89. They were just so cute! **squeals** lol. But then the stupid producers had to bring in Phillip & Vicky. Ugh. I hate it when producers don't listen to the fans. In the TC book, someone said that the reason TAC failed was 'cuz America wanted Jack & Janet to get together. I knew it!

If they didn't bring in Phillip and Vicky, Jack and Janet could have realized their true feelings for each other in the last few episodes...or..some...thing! And maybe Terri could have gotten together with Larry at the end...that would have worked out pretty good!

If I had to choose between Jack&Vicky and Jack&Janet, I'd choose Vicky. They Were Just Perfect Already! Now, Phil and Janet....Maybe Larry instead?

Also, I'd think the show would get OLD Fast, since Janet & Jack were the closest thing to married in the last few seasons, and the last was HORRIBLE (IMO), and the first season of that show would be 2X That!

I agree with Sean Snow, I would have rather seen Jack and Chrissy get together. Remember when Janet and Terri were talking in the last episode about how Jack never really tried to get with them like he tried to get with other girls. Well maybe he didn't hit on those two but he was trying to get with Chrissy in the first couple of seasons. I agree that if they would have brought Chrissy back and got her together with Jack that it should have been smart Chrissy rather than dumb Chrissy though.

They were going to bring Chrissy back, BUT some producers thought that it was a stupid idea after all the sueing and stuff. plus, u know how much money it would have cost to get her to come on for 1 ep ?

As I recall, they never seriously considered bringing Chrissy back, it was Suzanne Sommers own suggestion that she come back and at that point the producers were so tired of dealing with her that they didn't even bother.

As to Jack and Janet, it would have been adorable for them to get together at the end, and who was it that suggested Terri and Larry! That'd just be irrisistable. That would be one interesting marriage!

oh definitly janet. she was just the person to put jack in his place when necessary. he made her feel good and she made him feel good. they were so adorable together. and besides janets parents thought they looked cute and perfect together in janets secret. and jacks grandfather liked janet and said it was too bad that nothing serious was going on between them.;) i think it would have worked out fine. and i think that if they got the chance to show their love for eachother then it would have been even better for them.:)

The way I think Jack felt about his roomates!

Chrissy was fun to joke around with because she was so funny, but he never saw her as anything more then a friend.

Cindy is like a younger sister to him, even if his life is in danger every time he comes near her.

Terri is a great friend to him; he was really glad she had stay and gave him another chance.

And Janet....she was all that combined and more. She was his friend and companion for 8 years. He cared and trust her. He knew that she would always be there for him; he counted and depended on her! He knew that when ever he felt bad she would be there to make him feel better and when ever he got into his usual Jack trouble he could get Janet's help! So I think that no one else could be more better for Jack then Janet! :D

1.They lived together for all 8 seasons
2.They were set up by a computer
3.He passed out AND slept on Janet's bed with her in it

I know I've responded to this before, but that was ages ago so I'll respond again. :p

I (now) don't think that Jack should've ended up with any of the roommates. I see him more as a brother figure to Janet, Chrissy, Cindy, and Terri, rather than as a romantic figure. I don't know -- it just seems so WRONG. Besides, TC was all about the fact that Jack lived platonically with two beautiful women.

I think they had the right idea by introducing a new girl to the show for Jack. However, IMO, they handled it all wrong. Vicky lacked personality and was brought in way too late. I think it would've been interesting if they had brought in a character with a distinct, prominent personality and have them date Jack the entire season, with them being married in the season finale. The same could be done with Phillip, whom I thought was very bland in the episodes he was in.

There are two episodes, but I'm not so sure about which one it is. One episode is called Chrissy Come Home and the other is Janet's Secret.
