View Full Version : One Gay at a Time was pretty good.
IheartMoonlighting 10-01-2004, 01:57 AM Finally, the writers of the show give us a wonderful episode. It was nice to see Val on the show again and I hope the writers and showrunners realize that they do not need to overpopulate the show with silly guest stars.
dynoguy88 10-01-2004, 02:25 PM Actually, I was rather dissapointed in the episode. I don't think I laughed once. I thought with Val returning for an episode, that we would get to see another great cat fight between her and Grace. Molly and Debra were brilliant in their previous on camera fighting.
Really bummed about last nights episode. I'm really hoping the writing can get funny again. This is my favorite show and the writing simply has to get better.
Moondance 10-01-2004, 04:21 PM I loved this episode! It was far funnier than the last two, IMO! I thought that Grace joining an AA meeting strictly for free food and free therapy was very funny! And then Karen finding out and thinking it was a sin!
Molly Shannon....always funny!

snl75 10-01-2004, 05:27 PM it was pretty funny the idea of jack at a gay tv network was at least different
Lil Micelli 10-01-2004, 05:37 PM I am so mad because I missed it! I was driving home when it came on and my mom called and told me it was on, but she didn't know how to record it, so yeah... grrr!

I loved this episode too!! I laughed almost the whole time!! :D
Moondance 10-03-2004, 03:18 PM I enjoyed the Cheers reference by Grace! Then Karen mentioned One Life to Live...which is understandable - you'd have to be drunk to watch that show!
JD2635 10-04-2004, 01:44 PM I have to say. This episode made me like W&G all over again. However, I will like to say that when they do make the final episode of W&G next year, they should end the show on a high note instead of a whimper! But last might's episode was real good!
Moondance 10-04-2004, 07:45 PM My brother thinks that Jack and Will should get together on the final episode...
What do you guys think?

Yes. That would be a way to wrap up the series on a high note instead of a whimper LMAD/TPIR fan! Let's say that NBC feels sorry for ending this show. This will be similar to what they did to Just Shoot Me last year. So it's best for Will & Grace to end on a high note instead of a whimper. Same goes with That '70s Show, King of the Hill, and Everybody Loves Raymond next year when they air their finales.!
dynoguy88 10-05-2004, 09:38 AM Will and Jack end up together? Yuck! They would end up killing each other after one day. That would be too cliche anyway having them end up together. A million other sitcoms would have done that, Will and Grace won't do that. At least I hope.
BebeSternin 10-05-2004, 01:15 PM Will and Jack? Oh, honey. No. That's too...Niles and Daphne, and just not kooky enough for Will & Grace.
And I loved how Karen thought attending AA meetings was a sin. I mean, it really showed how wrong she really is.
Will and Grace Fanatic 10-05-2004, 01:49 PM I haven't been able to see any of the episodes from this season because I have been way to busy with work and all. This season sounds so great to.
By the way when Roseanne had her talk show, they had a little segment where they were talking about the new shows of the season. And they did mention that the creators and writers of "Will and Grace" had planned to have Jack and Will get together with a gay wedding at the end of the shows run.
BebeSternin 10-05-2004, 01:57 PM I'd love to hear what Bush would have to say about the gay wedding.

Probably not much. During this election season with polls pretty much even I doubt Bush would say anything to jeopordize his re-election. Even though we know he is against it.
BebeSternin 10-05-2004, 05:38 PM I really do hope he'd be smarter then that.. but yeah.
But the wedding itself would be worth seeing Jack and Will together. With Jack, it'd be so over the top and insane..

Jack is, like, the funniest male character ever to grace the sitcom world!
Karen is tied with Maryanne from Cybill - in fact, Karen was modeled after Christine Baranski's character on that show... Megan went on a talk show and said that Christine Baranski protrayed Maryanne better than [Megan's] Karen.

Janet McFarland 10-05-2004, 06:44 PM I wouldn't really want to see Will and Jack together at the end.. but that's just me.. I'm not sure what I'd like to see at the end of W&G.
I haven't seen the episode with Molly Shannon yet.. my mom taped it and she has like a million tapes with all these TV shows on it and I can't find the episode  But I was watching the one with Janet Jackson last night and it was ok.. I loved Jack's dance and then Karen comes in and is like "Be careful of the changeup honey!"
