Have you ever gone into a store, without having any intention to buy a TVDVD.... but find yourself buying one??

Maybe it was a deal you couldnt refuse.... or maybe something else.

I had no intention on buying Simpsons DVD's (hadn't watched in years) until FYE had 1, 2 and 3 for $15 each, I bought all 3 immediately and became a "born again" Simpson fan and bought 4 for regular price a week later.

I also remember buying the first season of Sex And The City (this was like early 2001, tv on dvd was about only numbered to about 8 shows) when I was at a Suncoast, and I was looking in the comedy section (tv-dvd did not have it's own section back in those days) and saw S&TC season 1 for $39.99. I had recently become a big fan during the shows third season, so I decided to get that so I'd get to start back from the beginning. I had no idea it was out until then, but when I saw it, I wanted it.

I wouldve made that impulse.... if you hadnt given me the headsup.
I bought Seasons 2 & 4 on Tuesday.... and bought 1 & 3 later in the week (at FYE, for $15 each), while I had planned on not buying them for at least a few weeks.

That situation never happened to me because if I ever go to a store, I know I'm walking out with something. Actually, I've done that pretty often with movie dvds, but not tv show dvds.

The closest instance for me was with All In The Family S3. It was released the same day as Soap S2. I planned on buying Soap only, not AITF, but since it was inexpensive, I said what the hell. But every other tv-dvd I have was something I planned on buying.

I bought crappy dvds on an impulse a few times, and they were Punk'd, The Osbournes & The Simple Life, all three have never been watched more than once, but I bought them cause they were cheap....

Yeah, I did.

I had a $10 Replay certificate in July when AITF S3 came out. It was sales week for AITF, so S3 was only $20...I figured what the hell and brought it...Only cost me $10 and some change. :D

The A-Team was an impulsive buy for me, even though I'm a longtime fan, I hadn't planned on buying it, but said what the heck when I got to the store :)
